is it time to panic yet?
Hurricane's supposed to hit tomorrow. Supermarkets are crowded though not picked clean except for survival supplies. Sounds like the biggest danger out here will be flooding, though we might get tornadoes (again). The path goes right over Springfield, and again, I ask why when they've already been hit by a devastating storm this summer.
The fridge is full of water bottles and I bought a bunch of non-perishable relatively-healthy snacks, so we're hopefully okay for a short power outage. If the power's out for several days, my parents have talked about evacuating to Vestal and staying with my aunt.
Everything's probably going to be fine, but I'm still worried. Doesn't help that I'm supposed to continue job training on Monday, one day after the worst of the hurricane. They'll call me if the office is closed, right?
