random link is (not so) random?

I've been wanting to share about an interest of mine, but not sure how to introduce it. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so have this relevant picture for now.

I thought the dragon would get your interest! ...and now I feel a bit guilty, since I have to tell you that the dragon is really fucking creepy, especially the cult he builds around himself.

Think of him as a creepier version of Greed 1.0, except with more influence. He already controls a chunk of territory and is a power to be reckoned with, and he makes no bones about wanting to expand his power. But he also frames himself as your side's savior and gives you tasks that he says are in your best interest as well, and he never actually violently conquers your country...

BTW, game also has quirky/crazy wizards (and most of them aren't even evil!) and underground aliens.

And this is a game that's 100 hours of gameplay to 5 hours of plot, though there's a large amount of non-plot world-exploring. And the wiki isn't too complete, especially when it comes to the latest game.

This series is advertised as being "one of the longest computer RPGs out there". And that's just with the official quests and sidequests, and not the player goals of "explore everything", "kill everything hostile", and "kill everything that won't net you an automatic game over".

The wiki is rather fun, though, even if it feels unfinished. I also enjoy reading the forum threads.
