Yesterday wasn't too bad. I came back to the hotel early and took a break in the room for a long while. It was nice because after all the shopping that I'd done (more walking then Shopping, West Edmonton Mall is still damn BIG!) my legs were hurting. They still are.
I bought a couple things, Autobot symbols for my car.. and whatever car I get in the future(Not my mom's mini-tank that's thing's a beast.) A couple books and not much else.
And... I got a good shot in on my mom. She started in on how she and dad need to go "get back on the diet" and hten mentions that "I" should too. I told her to shut-up, then my my dad tried to make us( re: me) "play nice" I turned around and looked at her adn asked her "Did you like it when people told YOU that you needed to loose weight?" She GLARED at me. Truly GLARED. I turned back around, "I didn't think so."
God that felt good.
Anywho...
Today.... dear God.... I want to make her feel the sort of pain she's putting one me.
She's an emotional wreck in my brother's room. I dont' blame him for getting annoyed with her. She's not listening to anything ANYone says, thinking she knows the absolute "best" way for EVERY Goddamned little thing. (Note: She doesn't)
Anyway, my brother basically said he only wanted his GF and Dad to stay, so Mom figured we'd go to Ikea.... so off we went...
We missed the turn off... and she said "I" should have been looking for it... Anyone see what's inheritantly WRONG in this situation. If you guess I didn't know where the hell the store was in the FIRST place... Give yourself a point.
So... we had to turn off into this little information booth/ building thing....
"How are we going to get out? It's a one way street."
"No.. there's a YELLOW line!"
"Shut-up, I'm driving."
You guessed it. She's still at it.
I go and get a better map and go back out. She goes to turn the WRONG way.
"Edmonton's that way." *points to the right.*
"No it isn't! This is the only way out."
"There's a sign that says Edmonton, THAT way."
"Shut-up, I'm driving."
Yep.. this was my fault too.
We finally get to Ikea...
"Is this a one way street?"
"No! There's a yellow line!"
"Oh.. I'm getting off rigth away anyway."
I just thank God there wasn't anyone coming the other way... I swear, she's forgetting how to drive!
Shopping wasn't too bad.. minor incedents that have slipped my mind due to larger issues.
Trying to get BACK from Ikea was hell.
There was constuction. We were in the wrong lane... she wanted to go the wrong way... AGAIN! she blamed me whenwe had to turn off.. and I was using HER "beloved" map that showed "EVERYTHING" in the city.
It didn't.
She wanted to go back the wrong way on a one way street.
She threated to kick me out of the vehicle more than once.
Then when I figure I'm free... the B*^%# has to come up to the room for something.
Now, I have a headache, my legs are stinging (Alllergic reations to SOMETHING) and my back's been back the entire time I've been here.
I ache, am in pain.. and literally feel like hitting my mother sometime soon because she can't listen, and seems to think that the only way anything will get done "right" is if it's done "her" way.
I still have to deal with her later today and all day tomorrow.
God give me strength to NOTmaim her as I would like to...cause... she's asking for it right now.
I'll be back tomorrow guys... and let me tell you... I'm going to need some major hugs... and Ice cream.... yeah... Ice cream... to chase away the foul taste of stupid mother.
[Edit]
Yeah... I think it's an allergic reaction(hopefully not to my new sandels) my legs are blotchy and red and sore... not a fun thing... and it might be the detergent that they use on the sheets... I've only ever had one other time I've had an allergic reaction. And that was when I was six... and my mom thought it was the cake... turns out it was the new laundry detergent she was using... don't remember much other than my arms were red and blotchy... can't remember if it hurt like this... but I think it might have.... stupid allergies.
