Look into the sky,
the darkening clouds,
The sky it opens,
as you refuse to do,
You refuse to let yourself feel,
as I know you do,
You won't let the tears flow,
You let the clouds part,
You let the sky cry for you.
Too afraid of the pain,
You've shut yourself in.
I lay here on my death bed,
And still you won't cry,
As I know you want to,
You've buried it so deep,
That you don't remember how,
You look down to me,
Sadness reflected in your eyes,
And still you don't weep.
Just like that day,
So many years ago,
The sky opens up,
It lets it's sorrow flow,
As you can't.
You step outside,
Looking to the sky,
Rain flowing down your face,
Like the tears you so wish to shed,
My voice it rings out,
It's final words,
"Please my love,
Cry for me,
Don't let the rain be the only tears upon your face"
I pass from this world,
And finally you cry.
