I'm In Hell...

....And it's not as fun as I thought it would be.  I hate weddings.  I hate going to them.  I especially hate Indian weddings.  Indian weddings typically last days because of all the shit you have to do before the actual wedding ceremony.  The only part I like about Indian weddings is the Henna Night.  I like henna -shrugs- So here I am in sunny California, absolutely miserable.  Why? Well because I'm here to attend an Indian Wedding.  Why would I fly cross country to attend an Indian wedding when I don't like them? you might ask.  Well it's very simple, I'm a Bride's Maid. Laugh it up.  You know you want to.  At least I'm not trapped in some horrible poofy pink confection.  Lucky me.  Nope, I get to wear a hunter green sari, which isn't so bad since I got to pick it out myself.  Now here's the truely hellish part.  I don't like most of my family on a good day.  A couple of my cousins are okay, but the good girl act that I put on the for the rest of them is just that, an act.  Oh, and did I mention it's cold?  Not really but for me it's cold.  So here's the deal on that:

The entire month of May I was in sunny, tropical India.  That wasn't so bad.  Went to a wedding [( yes another one )] visited family I haven't seen in ten years [( the best part... those particular relatives are awesome )] and went shopping [( i love wearng Indian clothes )].  Well let me put it this way: My flight back to the States was at 0100AM from Bombay.  When my flight departed [( on time )] it was about 84F outside.  When I landed in the States [( about 1400PM )] it was somewhere in the high 70sF.  Appearantly it rained for week prior to my arrival.  When I finally got reacclimated to the humid heat of GA [( anyone who's been there during the summer knows what I'm talking about and the time frame here is two weeks )] I fly out to San Fransisco.  The temperature has not broken 80 and the wind off the Bay is fucking freezing.  Oh, and I didn't pac any hoodies because I didn't think I'd need them.  So yes my friends, I am in hell.  There are no rivers of fire or imps and deamons running around.  Nope, not at all what you'd expect.  It is freezing cold, full of family drama, and I'm stuck here until August.  On the brght side, my birthday is tomorrow and my relatives practically spoil me because I'm the baby in the family, so yay there!  Later dude!
