WTF???
Yesterday the mailman forgot us. They came acrossed the street, but not on our side. This morning I stuck 5 bills and 3 Netflicks movies in the mailbox to be sent out. Around 6pm a neighbor knocked on my door and handed me 1 of the bills and all 3 of the movies which had been stuffed into his mailbox with his mail earlier that afternoon. I checked our mailbox and found the new mail plus the other 4 bills that were supposed to be mailed. So apparantly we have a new carrier who didn't have time to collect our letters in full, but made up for it by delivering the ones he could collect to the neighbors. Great. I'm sure the bank will sympathize with my situation when they come to repossess the car because the mail man sent my payments to "Coke Head Ken" instead of Merchants. Really, I'm sure they will understand.
So I will be calling the post office monday for a little bitchin'. "Maam, can we please have our old mail carrier back. You know, the literate one. The one who can tell the differance between Merchants National Bank and 560 Zumbro? And by the way your going to reimburse me for the postage I lost when the neighbor opened the envelopes thinking, Gasp!, that it was his mail in his mailbox!!!" Well, needless to say I will make one sad mail carrier come Monday afternoon. If he can locate his designated mail route without too much difficulty that is.
