ATSUSHI performed in prestigious '騰訊星光大典'!
On the 12th January, ATSUSHI was invited as a guest in the prestigious '騰訊星光大典', an award show which was held in China. He is the first Japanese that was invited to this award show. As the representative of Japan, he performed his cover of 我願意 in front of 2000 audience and managed to capture not only their hearts, but the viewers at home. Fans were impressed by his pronoucation of the Chinese language and had many praises for his great voice.
On 19th December 2011, Youku broadcasted his 我願意 cover PV which stared Lin Chi Ling. Within the month, the PV was charted in number 1 and had over 750,000 viewership!
After his performance in the 騰訊星光大典, ATSUSHI expressed that he desire to perform in the Asian stage. He hopes to be able to speak in Mandarin after his plans to study the language in China. As of now, he plans to study the language between 3 to 6 months.
