Mar 14, 2012 16:19

Title: House-Hunting
Author: Me (iris_aya )
Genre: Uh crack?  Fluff, teasing (teasing TJ that is)
Rating: I honestly have no idea, probably PG but PG-13 if you want to be safe, it’s not like anything happens though.
Warning: boyxboy pairing, general crack, potential typos/etc
Pairing: Akame
Beta: spread_da_love
Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with JE, and obviously I cannot "own" these people. I also, in no way, make monetary profit off this.
Summary: Sweet Devotion!Akame go house-hunting.
A/N:  This is in response to arisa_draconis  and sweetpaopuwind  requesting drabble continuations of Sweet Devotion.  I wanted to do Akame going house-buying in the fic but decided to leave it on a cuter note.  It involves… well you’ll see.  When I thought Akame house-hunting this of course came to mind, especially with dominant!Kame.  You don’t NEED to have read Sweet Devotion to understand/appreciate this but it’s suggested so you know the back-story.  I hope you enjoy this, it’s only 735 words but nice for a drabble.

“Now this house has four bedrooms, three baths, a downstairs study,” the realtor began to ramble of a list of facts.

Jin studied the house from the sidewalk, “what about the yard?”

Kame chuckled at how serious his lover was taking this.  Of course buying a home should be taken seriously but he was just surprised that the other was going through a realtor.  He had half expected Jin to come home one day with some crazy castle-like design sketched out by an architect, ranting about how perfect their “castle” would be once built.  He had been pleasantly surprised when he was dragged off to an appointment for house-showings.

He followed as they walked into the house, he blocked out Jin’s questions and the following answers.  They made their way into the large kitchen.

He vaguely noted stainless steel throughout before his eyes landed on the granite countertops a smile graced his lips.

“The whole kitchen is black, granite countertops, which is great because it never depreciates in value.  There’s a walk in pantry,” the realtor began, gesturing around the kitchen.  Her phone began to ring, “I’m so sorry, excuse me for a moment.”

Jin smiled and nodded and she walked into another room, “what do you think of the kitchen?”

“I like it, especially the countertops,” Kame smiled mischievously.

“Really?” Jin frowned, “I feel like it’s be a fingerprint magnet… it’d constantly need to be cleaned…” he tested his theory and ran his fingers across the top and was proven right at the streaks that followed.

“Yeah, but it’s pretty and…” Kame locked eyes with Jin, “Really… sturdy.”

Jin gulped, immediately getting flashes of what was running through Kame’s head.

“Sorry about that, shall we move on to the other rooms?” she suggested with an oblivious smile.

“Of course, let’s go,” Kame smiled and followed her into the living room.

Jin bit his lip, knowing exactly what his lover would be thinking through this whole showing: where are the best places to have sex?  He glanced at the countertops one last time before trotting after the other two.

Half an hour later they were found exploring the second story.

“I love this hallway because of the bay window at the end of the hall, overlooking the yard,” she pointed it out, “it has an absolutely lovely window seat.  You could change the material, etc if you end up buying the house to whatever you want.”

Kame smiled and bit his lip.

“What are you thinking?” Jin whispered, letting the realtor get a good distance ahead to the first door.

“You, up against the window,” Kame whispered before following the woman with a sway in his step.

“Bloody tease,” Jin whispered before following.

They were shown all the rooms, the beautiful bathrooms, everything and she left them to discuss things on the second floor as she made a quick call.

“So?” Jin looked hopeful, “when I saw pictures of this house I really liked it.  The yard is beautiful, and big enough.  We could have the study downstairs, the two rooms for our kids, and a guest room.  The rooms are huge too, and did you see the closet?  It might even be enough to fit all of our clothes,” he tempted, “And please stop thinking about the perfect places for sex,” he hissed.

Kame smiled, “one last comment, I promise.  The doors are perfect.  They’re all beautiful and very, very soundproof.”

Jin flushed bright red, “Kame!”

“Alright, alright.” Kame laughed, “I love the house.  Much better than the last five we looked at.  The yard is the biggest we’ve seen so far, the amount of rooms are perfect.  The bathrooms… they’re great but I’d want to remodel them a bit.  The closet space is perfect.  I love the kitchen, the pantry… but to be honest.  I will be happy with whatever you choose, because you have amazing taste.  It must come with your jewelry designing skill,” Kame traced circles on Jin’s chest, “We could buy the house this second if you wanted to and I would be content.”

Jin smiled and placed a few lingering kisses on Kame’s lips, “the great places for sex are just a bonus,” he murmured, “I think the foyer, up against the coat closet door could be an option too.”

Kame grinned, loving when he and his love were on the same page, “I hadn’t thought of that one…”
