Cabaret.

I must write this, because I just had one of the most amazing musical theatre experiences in my life (and I've seen John barrowman's sweat and spit in la cage). Me and sister went to see Amanda Palmer's Cabaret. Now cabaret is my all time favorite movie, and it's been a long dream to see it on stage. Only there was no new production of it. But my sister have have heard of this production but couldn't get tickets. She literally did everything she could, but didn't make it. Especially as tonight was opening night. we've waited an hour and a half outside the theatre to maybe have a chance to get a ticket, and it paid off. It was a standing ticket, and it was a very long show. Totally worth it. Totally. What was so amazing about this specific show, is that they transformed the entire theatre into that cabaret. The toilets, everywhere you went you felt inside a cabaret. Not only that, but the cast and the audience constantly mixed. We (especially those of us who stood up) were a part of the show. Amanda Palmer who was the MC drank from my sisters wine and wished me a happy new years. This actor kissed a guy, and then asked my sister if she was jealous. She said yes, so he kissed her too. And even during the interval, I got an indecent proposal from one of the characters :D and more! And the show itself. WOW. There was so much cross dressing! More than In the movie itself. Every part of the theatre, not just the stage was used. It was remarkable. And the actress who played Sally Bowles sang the important songs better than Liza Minnelli. We are going again tomorrow (not that we have tickets lol). Oh and we got free food, and wine, and Amanda Palmer sang 2 song in addition after the show was over. She was brilliant.
