Author’s Notes: This is the fruit of me and and my new friend Ammi flailing over TakaNoo last night
Summary: Inoo was having a hard time with his study, and Takaki was there to show his full-support to Inoo. How?
Inoo was currently studying hard for an exam tomorrow. His professor was a terror and was hard on giving grades so, to make up for the professor's strictness Inoo had to study harder. It was already past midnight but he was still studying.
His long-time partner, Takaki, woke up from his deep slumber and noticed that Inoo wasn't still beside him. He stood up and checked on the study room. He saw Inoo, back bent towards the desk, focused on studying. Takaki smiled to himself and decided to leave the younger guy be.
Few minutes later, Inoo leaned back to his chair and sighed. He suddenly felt a presence behind him and then there was a hand placing a cup of hot chocolate on the side of his desk. He looked to his left and saw a smiling Takaki, wearing his PJ's and his hair was all messed up. He figured that Takaki was woken up.
"Hey..." Takaki said and placed his chin on Inoo's head, "studying hard?"
Inoo nodded, he closed his eyes as he treasured the moment that he was in. His lover was right there with him, and made him a cup of hot chocolate. He felt that even though he was facing a lot of difficulties in his studies, everything will be just fine, everything will be perfect. He has his Yuyan.
"Well, I better not delay you any further," Takaki kissed the top of Inoo's head, "I'll see you in my dreams, love you,"
Inoo smiled, "I love you too,"
The next day, Inoo woke up at seven in the morning, rushing to prepare for his classes. Takaki wasn't there already when he woke up. He figured that Takaki already left for work. Inoo quickly brushed his hair, washed his face and put on his uniform. He ran down to the kitchen to eat a quick breakfast when he saw at his breakfast was already prepared, nicely served on the table. He saw a note beside the plate of toasted bread with jam and read it, "Good luck on your test, I know you'll do good, you studied hard, aishiteru ♥ "
Inoo smiled widely. Takaki never failed to make him smile when he wanted to. He ate the food Takaki made for him. He was about to leave when he saw a bento wrapped in cloth on the other side of the table. There was another note with it, "I know you're thinking that you'll just buy something outside, here's your lunch, better save that money ♥ "
He quickly held the lunch box by the knot of the cloth and walked out of their house with a big smile on his face. Inoo had to go through two classes before he can finally have his lunch. After the lunch will be the big test of the day. He went outside of the building and found a bench just under the tree to eat his lunch. He quickly opened it, and saw a mouth-watering tempura set. The rice was decorated with sesame seeds which read, "FIGHT-OH". A drop of tear was running down his cheek as he was smiling like an idiot, staring at his food. He was very happy. He took a bite and it was delicious. He could feel the love Takaki put into the food for him. After finishing his lunch, Inoo took out his phone and called Takaki.
"Moshi moshi," Takaki's deep voice answered his call.
"Ne, tabemono wo arigatou... oishikatta ne," Inoo said, trying not to tremble in happiness.
Takaki smiled, Inoo could feel it even Takaki wasn't in front of him, "Hontou ni? Yokatta.."
"Ne, Yu-chan...?"
"Hm?"
There was a moment of silence between the two of them. Takaki didn't dare to speak because he knew that Inoo wasn't done talking yet. He just waited until he heard a deep breathing from Inoo's side.
"Koishiteru,"
Takaki quickly flashed a crimson red color on his cheeks after Inoo said the word. He didn't know how to react so he just said, "B-Baka!" then hung up.
Inoo chuckled as he put his phone back to his pocket, all ready to face to difficulty of his exam.
