I got home around 7ish, bad traffic back from Midway . . . I started calling SDCC the fandom gauntlet and it sure is hahah. You either wind up in a fandom trance state or a fandom coma, at the moment it's more like a coma; got 4 hours max last night . . . so I don't know how coherent any of this is.

I WILL write a report but I do not know when it will happen. While I'm in Japan? o_O; Weird. Um stuff I was at though:

Wednesday: Fringe screening
Thursday: failed to get in to Disney animation story process; so tried Doctor Who/Torchwood (only stayed to take some photos @Torchwood, for those of who you actually watch it :P Not that I've been watching Dr Who lately either); got into Summit panel in Hall H to see Alex Proyas, dear god I have never ever heard screaming like that (Twilight fans) D:, Fables signing (I think that was Thurs >_o)
Friday: Spaced, Spaced signing . . . (XBox Original content, though director for Saw and several other notable directors were there) --> Venture Bros. --> Robot Chicken --> MST3K 20th anniv. --> Eureka early screening . . . caught the tail end of Eisners, saw guy starring in The Spirit and that guy from My Chemical Romance present lol (missed Samuel L. apparently?)
Saturday: Watchmen book panel w/Dave Gibbons --> ( Hasbro Transformers lol and no I am polite and paid attention thanks) --> Tite Kubo panel . . . uh Chuck panel . . . J. Michael Straczynski spotlight --> (TV Guide panel w/bunch of people including David Nutter, writers/producers for Kyle XY (plus stars), The Middleman (plus star), producer/lead for US Life on Mars, producer for upcoming series "Virtuality" and "My Own Worst Enemy" both of which sound interesting) --> MythBusters panel . . . masquerade

If I didn't go to it, it either overlapped with something I was doing, or there was no chance in hell, or both. Heroes/Lost line was somewhere behind the building by 8ish. Too many popular panels in rooms too small - spent fair amount of time standing outside in sun even for third-tier rooms this year, if you want to get in, you better get there around 3hrs early. Up side: was third row dead center for MST3K, third row center for Tite Kubo, first row @Chuck thanks to friends who were there earlier, second row dead center for MythBusters. Only made masquerade by running and having a VIP ticket but was fourth row for that (on one side but still).

Swag may be more immediately relevant to people; I did my best but yeah sorry I did not have nearly as much exhibit hall time this year so I couldn't do much for photos either. If I knew something specific someone would like, I tried to get it. Don't take it personally if I didn't get you something, it was what I happened to be able to get okay :P

I am not 100% sure of the situation on the Star Trek posters. x_X I should have two full sets plus one extra Uhura. +one set claimed by trekkieb47 (dude it was totally for you anyway)

I do have photos of swag stuff, I'm just not going to process them right this second. This is called "so I don't forget what the hell I have".

for blood_sorbet: Clone Wars Ahsoka poster, also have two Clone trooper masks (child size but they'd look cool on a wall lol, two color schemes, you have my roommate G. to thank for that because she gave me an extra and then picked up the second scheme just for you), The Office flow chart poster (I coulda got you one of Dwight too but . . . lol)
shadrad - not that exciting but I have a Stargate Worlds dog tag if you want it and new Doctor Who postcard if you want that.
1ucifer - Dr Who postcard - Tennant and whosehernameI'mblankingcrap who plays Donna; Heroes:Villains mini poster of Sylar
Also - one Torchwood postcard up for grabs, would 1ucifer and lunaneko like to duke it out? lol. +claimed by lunaneko

Extras up for grabs -
- Heroes brochure/lapel pin set - supposedly a "clue" for next season. I guess my bro has dibs but I don't know if he really wants it :P +claimed by stephen_poon
- Knight Rider bumper stickers, x2 +1 claimed by jedijenchan
- ONE extra MythBusters SDCC edition poster +claimed by sweeteststillness
- Ghost Hunters pin (can't remember who the fans of this show are) +claimed by _michael_sama

- One Primeval promo postcard
- Devil May Cry 4 poster (I have two, but I might keep one unless someone wants it) +claimed by thelonew0lf
- The Spirit poster set - I didn't open this, the end is damaged, I think it's a four-set of all the girls +claimed by blood_sorbet?
- Transformers second movie poster (small)

I am not sure how to do fair distro of items if two people want something, and on the posters, if I have to mail them - you have to help me out, guys. I don't mind getting stuff for people but ...

Minuses: thanks to brutal crowds, I lost both my "Sanzo drinking sake" keychain (which I forgot to take off my bag) and my beloved spider pin :( (How the HELL did something get knocked off my head? You didn't see the feeding frenzy around WB and Paramount.) I probably can't replace either. T_T I guess I have to consider it a fair trade for the stuff I came home with/experience. :( I fscking loved that pin though and I'm not at all happy about Sanzo.

One of the reasons why the Omni is particularly awesome: Jim Warren (Famous Monsters of Filmland) held the door for me on the elevator this morning and had brief convo. (Was not on elevator with J. with Corey Feldman though.)
