Had some excitement -- well technically this morning. I was on my way to bed, getting a drink to take my meds with, and stepped in water in front of the fridge. Opened the fridge door, bit of water came out. I looked around, nothing to have leaked; then I remembered thinking earlier that the ice maker was making a strange noise. So I opened the freezer. Out pours water. It was totally like a cartoon. So I had to get my folks up (well my mother, my dad did finally wake up, though he slept through most of the wet-dry vacuuming) . . . was up until a bit after four dealing with it. Fuuuun. In spite of all the water dripping from the ceiling in the basement, the only thing that really got it was my dad's old papers - nothing particularly important. Though we had a time of it because we though the freezer might be broken and would have to move the food - so I scrubbed out the old freezer down there, which proved to be 100% broken anyway. x_X Anyhow near as we can figure the shutoff valve on the ice maker broke, so water kept coming in - the drawers in the freezer door were all full of water.

Please excuse me whilst I make a Twilight Princess Link cosplay and then fly to Canada to wherever the heck "Canada's Wonderland" is because damned if this doesn't look frighteningly like the hot springs on Death Mountain. D: (Okay apparently it's outside Toronto.)

Gyah schoolwork and we're leaving for Charleston on Tuesday so I have to go do other things right now, break time over. Bwuh didn't get to comments though.
