Summary: They were friends since forever, but who knows what destiny has prepared for them.
A month passed since the incident that happened between Shana and Jin, they were doing a good job hiding it from everyone. Jin also talked to Yuya about what happened to them in Okinawa and was able to be friends again. But of course, Jin knowing that Yuya was feeling something for his girlfriend was more cautious.
One particular day, Aya was ignoring Jin and the latter doesn't know why. Jin got impatient and demanded Aya to talk to him but she won't. She just told him to meet her at the rooftop later after school.
Jin impatiently waited for the time to come. When he heard the very last bell for that day, he quickly ran to the rooftop and saw his girl waiting for him there, "Aya!"
"Hey babe," Aya greeted her with a smile, "happy anniversary,"
"Today?!" Jin thought very hard, he forgot about it.
Aya pouted, "You forgot?"
"I'm sorry, I lost track of the day," Jin apologized and kissed her forehead.
"Here," Aya gave him a rectangular box, "my gift for you,"
Jin opened it and saw a bracelet in it, there was a long bar in the middle and has an engraving on it saying "AJ"
"AJ?" he asked.
"Yeah, Aya, Jin, AJ,"
"Th-thank you! Sorry I didn't have anything for you, but I promise I will give you soon,"
The girl shook her head, "Just giving me your whole love, loyalty and honesty, that's the best gift ever,"
When Jin heard the word honesty he suddenly remembered what happened with Shana. He gulped, he felt guilty. He decided. He will tell her, "Aya... since you said honesty... there's something I need to tell you,"
"What is it?" Aya wondered.
"Well... it's a long story but to make it short... I slept with Shan,"
Silence. Silence, it was only silence that responded Jin. He didn't even receive any look from the girl. She quickly looked down as she heard what Jin said. She wanted to hide her tears, "When?"
"A month before... I was drunk, I didn't know it happened... I was at her house, taking my frustration out because I saw you and Yuya together.. then the next thing I knew, I woke up beside her, naked," Jin explained.
Aya couldn't stop her tears from falling now. It wasn't an excuse for her. Being drunk was never an excuse. She kept on telling Jin not to drink even if he was frustrated and hurt. There were lots of ways for her to let a frustration out other than alcohol.
Jin touched her face but she quickly slapped his hand away, "Don't touch me!"
"Aya..."
"Don't! Just don't!!! It's over Jin, over!"
"But Aya..." he grabbed her arm and held it tight, "please, give me another chance, I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to,"
"Didn't what? Didn't mean to fuck my best friend? Didn't mean to get drunk? Didn't mean to hurt me?! YOU MEANT IT ALL JIN! It was your fucking choice to get drunk and it also meant it was you choice to do her! If I give you another chance, what? It's like giving you another chance of cheating on me! I can't trust you anymore, I just can't,"
Aya pulled her arm back from Jin and started walking away but the latter stopped her, "Please, babe, sorry, I swear I won't do it again,"
"Thank you Jin... thanks for everything and hurting me," she coldly said and left.
Broken heart-ed, Jin was left there all alone crying his eyes out, "AAAHH!!!"
"Fuck you Akanishi Jin... fuck fuck fuck!" he kept on swearing. He leaned back to the fence and slowly slid down as he sat on the floor. He wanted to die, he didn't feel like continue on living. Aya was his life, his everything, and now she broke up with him, on their anniversary. There was nothing left for him.
Few moments passed, Shana who was looking for Jin went to the rooftop and saw Jin, sitting on the ground, all wasted, "Jin!"
She approached the guy and checked on him, "What the fuck happened?"
"She.. broke up with me Shan... I wanna die," the guy lifelessly said.
"What?! Why?"
"I told her about what happened to us... there's no point of me living now Shan, I lost Aya,"
Shan cupped Jin's face and looked at him, "Jin, the heck?! No! She's not just the only woman in this world! You're good-looking and famous, everyone wants to be with you!"
""But she's the only woman for me,"
"Then make me!"
"Huh?"
"I'll be your girl, your woman, I'll be your life, like before, your wife, Jin, I love you, so please, give me a chance to give you the life Aya took,"
"It's pointless Shan.."
"J-just give me a chance," Shan looked at him seriously, "please, I didn't give my virginity for you for nothing, I didn't give it just because you're drunk, I gave it because I love you!"
"I don't know," he looked away, "I don't know if you'll be a good match for her,"
"I'll try my best, I'll be whatever or whoever you want me to be,"
Jin sighed, feeling all helpless, he needed some comfort. He pulled Shana and let her sit beside him. He then leaned his head on her shoulder while holding her hand.
Meanwhile, Aya, crying, was walking at their campus when she accidentally bumped into someone. When she saw who was it, it was Yuya, "A-aya? You crying?"
Aya quickly embraced him and cried on his uniform, "I think I know now what you meant Yuya... Shan loves Jin... and they already slept together,"
"Aya..." Yuya couldn't say anything, he was shocked that Jin and Shana already did it, but the fact the she loved Jin was not new for him. He stroked her hair to comfort her and let her wet his clothes.
"I broke up with Jin,"
"Eh?!"
"I don't deserve this Yuya, I gave Jin my whole heart.. my whole love, then this is how he'll pay me, no! I know I made out with you before but it's nothing compare to what he did. He knows my trust will be easily gone once a promise is broken and it'll take darn long to bring it back.."
"Trust me then," Yuya said and tilted Aya's face up. He leaned down and brushed his lips on hers, slowly, deepening the kiss.
Feeling the comfort Yuya was giving her, Aya relaxed, she closed her eyes and went along with Yuya's pace. It was slow, sweet and full of emotion. Yuya, confessed to her with that kiss.
She returned it.
