Summary: They were friends since forever, but who knows what destiny has prepared for them.
The next day was really awkward for the five of them. Aya doesn't really know how to approach anyone of them, she's not sure if Shana was mad at her or not. She's too mad at Jin for hurting one of their friends, and things will be more complicated if she will talk to Yuya. So, Yamada who's not that involved in the fight was the only one she talked to.
"I feel horrible," Aya sighed. She and Yamada was by the shore sitting beside each other.
Yamada looked to the girl beside him, "Don't be, it's not your fault that... that Takaki-senpai was.. you know, to you.."
"But still... how about Shan? I know she's hurt because of me,"
"I'm hurt but not because of you and I'm not mad at you." a voice spoke from behind. Aya and Yamada looked back and saw Shana standing with her red puffy eyes.
"Shan?" Aya stood up and ran to her best friend, "Shan, I thought I'll lose you,"
Shan chuckled and embraced Aya back, "Fuck no, it's all that BAKAki's fault,"
"You broke up with him?" Aya asked her.
Shana nodded, "Well, it's senseless being with someone who doesn't really love you anymore,"
"Yuya doesn't love you anymore?!"
Shana looked down, "Yeah, I failed to notice that.. he's just trying his best to stay with me but the truth is... ever since that rainy day, he can't take you out of his head... and then, he fell for you,"
"B-but Shan.. don't you love him anymore? Get him back!"
"I do, I still love him," Shana sat down, "but... it's better of this way, I'll just make him suffer if he stays with me, and we'll both get hurt,"
That night, while Aya was having a time all by herself, standing by the shore, she saw Yuya went out of their cottage along with his stuffs. She quickly ran to him and stopped him.
"Yuya!"
Yuya looked away but Aya spoke, "Yuya, you leaving?"
"I'll just make things complicated here," he said.
"But... how about Jin? How about Shan?"
"Jin will just end up killing me if I talk to him and I'm sure Shan already told you what happened and why it happened,"
"But still.."
Then the latter started walking, "I don't if I can stay away from you Aya but... I'll try,"
Yuya finally left, disappeared from the girl's sight. The girl who didn't know what to feel, what to do and what to think. She doesn't want this to happen, she didn't expect this to happen just because of that one rainy day. That day he let Yuya kiss her. Downhearted, Aya went back to their cottage and saw Jin, waiting for her at the living room,
"Babe," Jin called her as she arrived. He walked to her and embraced her really tight, "You won't leave me for that Takaki right?"
"Jin... you know I love you but... I want you to be friends with him again," Aya looked up at him, observing what his face will show her.
"I don't know, but for you I'll try," the boy said.
She smiled and tiptoed to reach his lips, "Thank you,"
"Anything for you," JIn smiled and cupped her face. He leaned forward to her and started kissing her passionately.
Shana, was hiding herself, looking at the couple who just got back together was feeling pain. She didn't know why, but when she saw them, she suddenly remembered her past with Jin.
~flashback~
"Shana, let's go home, it's getting late," Shana's mother said.
"NO!" Shana quickly ran to little Jin and hugged him, "I wanna be with Jin! I'll live with him coz I'll marry him!"
"Shana,"
"No! I'll be with Jin! He's gonna be my husband!"
Shana smiled in herself. She wanted those times back. She wondered if all these years, it was Jin who she really loved? What did she feel for Yuya for the past few years? Mercy? Or she just saw what she was looking for at Yuya and now she lost it? She didn't know but she knew she wanted to be the girl in Jin's arms, the girl who Jin will offer those lips.
"I love you," she heard Jin say those three words to her best friend. Shana wanted those words, those affection, but how? She won't risk their friendship to get Jin from Aya. She'll wait, just wait.
Since their situation became awkward after Jin's fight with Yuya, the four remaining people decided to go back to Tokyo the next day. They should be there for two weeks, but they only had three days. Since they still have an awful lot of time, Jin and Aya decided not go home for the next 11 days. Instead, they told Shana and Yamada to go back to Tokyo without them.
Yamada, though hesitant, agreed with them but, "If I go back home, Aunt will see me and ask me where are you,"
"Yeah," Aya looked at Jin for a decision.
Jin sighed, "Fine, we'll go home as well,"
"Yosh!" Yamada cheered in his mind that Aya won't be left with Jin under the same roof. He just knew very well that Jin wanted to get in her pants.
When they arrived back at Tokyo, Aya remembered Yuya. She was worried about him and wanted to know how he was doing. So she took her phone and sent Yuya a message.
Message from Aya:
Yuya, we're back at Tokyo, just wondering how you're doing now. Take care.
In his house, Yuya felt his phone vibrated and saw the message. He felt happy that Aya was worried about him. Will he reply? He told her he'll try to stay away from her. Maybe no, but few minutes passed and Yuya was still staring at the rectangular screen of his phone deciding if he's reply or not.
"Uggghh!!" Yuya hopped to his bed and ruffled his hair. What should he do? It's been years since he felt something like this, it was way back when he fell in love with Shana.
Irritated, Yuya took his phone and decided to reply to Aya.
Message from Yuya:
I'm fine, don't worry about me.
As Aya got home, she checked her phone and saw the message. She pressed the "Reply" button and started typing her message.
Message from Aya:
Jin wants to talk to you btw.
Message from Yuya:
About what? *scared*
Message from Aya:
*laughs* Don't be, I'll be there just in case he goes rampage again.
Message from Yuya:
Ok then, when?
Message from Aya:
Ashita, soushite, try to get back with Shan ok?
Message from Yuya:
I can't.
Message from Aya:
Doushite?
Message from Yuya:
We don't have feelings for each other anymore.
