Summary: They were friends since forever, but who knows what destiny has prepared for them.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" Shana was sitting on the swing of a playground where she and Jin used to play when they were little.
Jin was sitting on the other swing next to Shana, "Aya's mad.."
"Oh, let me guess, Yama-chan?" Jin nodded.
"Shan, I'm getting anxious... what if she loves Yamada more? What if she treasures him more than me?" a tear ran down his cheek.
"Are you doubting her?"
"It's not that I'm doubting her but... I'm scared, I don't want to lose her," he looked down.
Shana placed her hand on her friend's shoulder, "Jin, look, Aya loves you more than everything and there's no freaking way that she'll choose any other guy over you,"
"Shana, I really see Yamada as a big threat,"
"But it doesn't mean you have to be so harsh to him, you''ll just make yourself the big fat bully here and she'll hate you, yes she loves you, but as Yama-chan's best friend, she doesn't want anyone hurting someone so important to her.. Jin, hurting Yamada means hurting her," Shana told him.
"You think so?"
Shana nodded, "They're bonded together since they're kids, like us, and if someone bullies you I'm so gonna kill him,"
Jin chuckled, "Yeah, same goes to you,"
"So, go apologize to Aya and Yamada,"
"Maybe later, or tomorrow, Aya won't listen to me if she's mad, you know her,"
"Yeah, she can be really bitter," Shana replied.
The two best friends spent their whole afternoon by that playground talking about random stuffs. Jin walked Shana home, "Jin, remember what we used to do when we were kids?"
Jin smiled, "Yeah, you always kiss my cheeks, and parents would tease us, then you'll tell them that you'll marry me someday,"
"Yeah, does Aya know that?" Shana asked.
"No, how about Yuya?"
"Naa, he'll be jealous big time, but we were kids that time, we don't even know what the heck marriage is, anyway," Shana tiptoed and kissed Jin's cheek, "thanks,"
"Anytime," Jin waited for Shana to enter her house then he left.
Jin was walking home when he saw Yuya walking as well, "Oi! Yuya!"
Yuya looked at Jin's direction and looked away. He kept on remembering what happened between him and his friend's girlfriend yesterday and couldn't seem to look at Jin straight in the eyes.
"Dude, something wrong? You haven't talked to me since morning," Jin asked in concern.
"N-nothing," Yuya answered, "Shit Takaki Yuya, forget what happened yesterday,"
"Oh, you sure?"
"Yeah, but I have a question, you see, I read something and this is about two friends, they're both guys and they have girlfriends,"
"Then?"
"Then, guy 1 well.. made out with guy 2's girlfriend, if you're guy 2 what will you do?"
"I'll kill guy 1 even if he's my best friend,"
Yuya gulped, "Oh, scary,"
"I swear I will, I mean, if you make out with my girl, dude, you're better off dead," then Jin smiled, "but I know you won't you have Shana,"
Yuya smiled back at him, he decided to try his best and forget the pleasure he felt yesterday, the craving. But every time he'll see Aya, it was there again, he wanted to grab her from Jin's arm and take her away from him. Was it lust that he felt? He didn't know himself.
Summer vacation came, and summer meant beach. So the five friends went to Okinawa to have some fun at the beach. When Aya was dressing for her swim suit, Jin suddenly entered the room.
"Jin!" Aya gasped and covered herself.
JIn chuckled, "Come on babe, as if I haven't seen you fully yet,"
Aya looked away and blushed, "But still..."
"Can you turn your back on me for a sec?"
"S-sure," Aya did what Jin asked her to do. Suddenly, she felt Jin's lips on her back, sucking on her skin and leaving a bright red kiss mark, "Jin! What the fuck?!"
Jin pulled her and embraced her from behind, "That way other guys won't see my girl wearing something seducing,"
Aya rolled her eyes, "Jin, I went all the trouble to find a nice swim suit for this trip then you'll give me this?"
Then Shana entered the room wearing her daring two-piece swim suit covering only her sensitive part, "Hey,"
Jin whistled, "Hey sexy,"
"Shut up," Shana gave Jin a glare.
Yuya followed Shana in and saw Jin embracing Aya only on her swim suit, "H-hey,"
Aya quickly wore a white shirt on top to cover her hickey before the other two might see it.
"Aya, you aren't gonna show off? Jin and Yama-chan's gonna love it you know," Shana asked her teasingly.
"I would like to, but Bakanishi Jinjin gave me a hickey on the back," Aya pouted.
The day went fast. Aya was at the balcony of their cabin when Yamada came to check on her, "Where's senpai?"
"Jin? He's with Shana, buying something," Aya responded.
"I see," Yamada stood beside her and leaned his elbow on the fence of the balcony, "you having fun?"
"Yeah, Yama-chan, how's Jin to you these days?" Aya looked at her best friend.
"I guess you can say he's being nice,"
"That's good,"
Meanwhile, somewhere down the beach, Jin and Shana were walking by the shore. Jin was holding a bag of fireworks.
"Do you wanna go back now?" Shana asked.
Jin shook his head, "I wanna stay here more, you?"
"Naa, I'll stay here with you,"
"Shan, I have a really stupid question,"
"Well, you are stupid,"
Jin pouted, "Meanie!"
"Anyway, what's your question?"
"Well, if ever we're together, you think our parents will be happy?"
"I guess they will be, but they still support us to who we love right?"
Jin stopped walking, "And Shan, is there something wrong with Yuya these days?"
