Summary: Campus heartthrob Akanishi Jin got tipsy after a party and revealed something.
In Tokyo University, Akanishi Jin was the reigning Campus Heartthrob and everyone wanted to be with him and to be like him. He's rich, smart and handsome. He liked to party and have fun. He's finishing the course Information Technology at the Computer department of their school and currently is at his 2nd year.
Meanwhile, Akanishi Jin's complete opposite, Tamayo Shannen, also finishing IT was quiet, not that rich and hated parties. She was a loner but smart as well. The thing was, she's one of the people who wanted to be with Jin. But how? If she hated everything Jin wanted.
"I'm Shannen, tomorrow's my 19th birthday. I'm half Japanese half Filipina. I used to live in the Philippines but decided to migrate here because when it comes to computers, Japan is 20 years ahead of any country, including mine. I'm here since my first year of Senior High and got pretty used up here. I'm just an ordinary girl. I don't have lots of friends but I have some, and they are true friends. While the guy that I like since Senior High, he's got tons of friends, his name is, Akanishi Jin. I knew him since we were in first year of Senior High, he was in the same class as I did but we didn't really talk much. I remember him talking to me one time because we had a project and we're in the same group. I'm currently living in an apartment with my friend Aya, she's also a half Japanese half Filipina that went here after graduating High School, the reason, her boyfriend's family gave her a scholarship in Tokyo U.,"
"Shannen, let's go, we're gonna be late!" Aya shouted as she was wearing her shoes by the door. Shannen was still fixing her hair.
"I know I know! We still have 30 minutes you know?" Shannen responded as she followed Aya.
"But Ryo's already waiting outside, hurry up," Aya ran out and quickly gave her boyfriend a good morning hug as she saw him.
"Where's Shannen?" her boyfriend Ryo asked.
"I'm here, sorry for waiting," Shannen apologized.
"It's ok, let's go,"
Ryo opened the doors of his car for Shannen and Aya and drove off to Tokyo U. When they arrived, it was crowded at the gate. They knew what the reason was, the great Akanishi Jin just arrived. Ryo tried to drive into the crowd to get to the student's parking lot.
"Man, these people are crazy," he complained as he was finally able to park his car.
He opened the doors for the ladies and watched as the students mobbed over their campus heartthrob.
"Wow! Akanishi-kun sure is great ne?" Aya said.
"Hmph, not as great as me though," Ryo responded with irritation and left.
"He sure hates Akanishi-kun doesn't he?" Aya uttered and followed him to their classroom.
They left Shannen there cause they know her morning ritual, it was to watch Jin until he reached their classroom. Jin noticed that Shannen was quietly observing him for so long and decided to greet her, "Ohayou, Tamayo-san,"
Shannen was very much surprised that Jin even talked to her, "O-ohayou, Akanishi-san," in quick response, Shannen doesn't know what to do, she was too nervous and she actually ran away from Jin.
Lunch break came. Shannen, Aya and Ryo were eating at the cafeteria when Aya opened up a topic, "Ne, Shannen, any plans for today? It's almost your birthday, "
Shannen shook her head and said, "Nothing I guess,"
"Then let's have a small party, just the three of us, what do you think?" Aya asked.
"I won't really mind so it's fine with me,"
"Then it's settled," Aya then looked at Ryo, "let's go shopping after school ok?"
"Sure," Ryo answered.
"How about me?" Shannen questioned.
"You're the birthday girl, you'll be treated specially today," Aya replied.
So after school, Shannen went straight home to wait for her friends to come. It was almost midnight but Aya and Ryo wasn't there yet and Shannen's started to get worried. Good thing she received a message that they're on their way home. They just had a hard time preparing such and stuffs.
Few minutes later, the doorbell rang. Shannen quickly ran to open the door for she knew that it will be her friends. In her surprise they were not home yet. The person who came was none other than the campus heartthrob, Akanishi Jin and he was drunk.
"A-akanishi-kun?!"
Jin suddenly went out of balance, good thing Shannen was able to catch him though she was struggling cause he's heavier than her. She helped him walk and guided him to the sofa and let him rest.
"Sh-shannen..." Jin grunted.
"Hai?" Shannen quickly responded and thought, "Did he just call me... Shannen?"
In a blink of an eye, Jin pulled Shannen down the sofa and kissed her steadily. Shannen could clearly smell the scent of Vodka from his mouth, "A-akanishi-kun?! You're drunk!" Shannen in response pulled her self from Jin and stood up.
"I am Shannen..." Jin slowly stood up and faced Shannen as he was holding on her shoulders, "I am... because you got me tipsy baby,"
"YES! That's the point Akanishi-kun! You're tipsy, you're drunk and out of your mind so please stop this non-sense!" Shannen tried to struggle but Jin's hold to her shoulders were just too tight.
"THAT'S RIGHT! I'M OUT OF MY MIND!" Jin shouted, "you're making me lose my mind Shannen! Why can't you call me Jin? Why can't you look into my eyes like you did to me before! WHY CAN'T YOU REMEMBER ME!? Shannen, I LOVE YOU!"
Jin started crying, "Th-this morning... you... you ignored me... it hurts... it hurts so bad!"
"Aka...nishi-kun..." Shannen couldn't figure out what Jin was saying, what he meant by those words.
Jin sniffed and asked, "What time is it?"
"12:01am,"
Jin suddenly pulled him into a tight and warm embrace and said, "Happy Birthday Shannen,"
"He... he knows?!"
Jin was about to give Shannen another sweet kiss when suddenly, the door slammed opened, Aya and Ryo came in, "Shannen! Happy Birthday!!!"
Jin stopped his actions. Aya and Ryo were also stunned with what they saw, "Uh.. well... we can just come again,"
"No," Jin coldly said, "I'm leaving anyway," before Jin could leave, he took out something from his pocket and tossed it to Shannen and left.
"W-what's he doing here?" Aya asked.
"I uh.. don't know... he suddenly came and blah!" Shannen answered while holding the small box in her hands.
"What did he give you?"
Shannen opened the small box and revealed a silver bracelet. There was a long silver bar at the middle of it and something's engraved on it, Shin.
"Shin? What the heck is Shin?" Aya wondered.
Then Ryo butted in, "Isn't it Jin and Shan?"
"B-but... why?" Shannen asked, this question kept on repeating in her head. Why would Jin do such things to her? Suddenly, she remembered that Ryo and Aya were late and asked them why.
"Cause, we prepared something special for your birthday and we didn't expect it that we'll take long," Aya explained.
"Really? Can I see it?"
"Sure! Let's go!"
"W-where?"
"Just follow us!"
Aya and Ryo brought Shannen into a private pool resort. It was a property of Ryo's family and they decided to occupy it for the night. There were decorations, cakes, foods and many more. Aya decided to call some of their friends to be with them and had fun. Shannen tried to forget what happened that night with Jin but she just couldn't. She tried her best to pretend that nothing's bothering her cause she doesn't want her friends' effort to go into a waste.
Two days passed and it was already Monday. Shannen was still bothered but she just kept on thinking, "He's just drunk, just drunk,"
She entered their classroom. She looked around and there was no Jin, only his best friends Yamapi and Kame.
Classes already started but Jin was still nowhere to be found. In the middle of the class, someone was singing through the speaker at the whole campus. Everyone knew whose voice was it.
"If I said do you love me would you say YE-OH!" it was Jin's.
Even if it was the middle of the class, all students responded to him with a "YE-OH!"
"If I said do you need me, would you say YE-OH!" Jin repeated the lines twice and moved into the chorus of the song, everyone in the university knew that it was Jin's composition, titled TIPSY LOVE.

"Dearest, Tamayo Shannen-san, I Akanishi Jin, is completely sober today and I think you won't say that this is nonsense," Jin said, the whole campus could hear them and this made Shannen nervous, everyone in class was looking at her, "if I'm not wrong you're telling yourself that I'm just drunk that time when I told you that I love you, but this time I'm not! I'm fine and not drunk, but still, my crazy love for you is making me tipsy! So please please please please, if you want to clear things out with what the heck I'm announcing to everyone in the school, meet me later at the rooftop of Computer Department Building, or else, I will sing Tipsy Love to you every freaking day, Shannen, I repeat, I LOVE YOU,"
The announcement ended but Shannen's nervousness was still continuous, she couldn't believe what she heard, what everyone heard. Since she's puzzled as much as everyone else, she decided to go and meet with Jin.
She was about to go to the rooftop when Yamapi and Kame suddenly blocked her way and told her to come with them.
"W-what is it? Am I in trouble?" she asked.
"No, we just want to say something to you,"
They led her to the Chemistry lab to have some privacy, "Tamayo-san," Kame started, "do you remember when you were still 4 that a guy named Jin visited you in the Philippines? He stayed at your house for a week because your father and his father are best of friends,"
Shannen tried to remember really hard and a memory suddenly flashed in her head. She remembered. There was a boy who became really close to her, his name was Jin.
Yamapi spoke, "He made a promise to you doesn't he?"
Shannen's tears started to fall and nodded, "On my 19th birthday, he'll come back for me,"
"And he did, but you rejected him, you forgot about him," Kame said, "did you know why he was drunk that night?"
Shannen shook her head.
"Because you ignored him when he greeted you, he was frustrated and depressed, because you have forgotten about him,"
"I'm sorry..."
Yamapi tapped her shoulder and said, "Save your sorry for Jin, ok? Promise us you'll make it up with him. You love him right?"
"I do, I love him so much,"
Then Kame leaned forward to whisper something to her ears, "The song he sang this morning, he wrote it for you,"
After talking, the two let Shannen go and she went straight to the rooftop where Jin was waiting. Before she showed herself, she took the bracelet out of her pocket and wore it. She remembered when Jin made that promise. They drew a heart at the back of a picture of them. In the middle of the heart they wrote, "Jin + Shan = Shin". Jin kept that picture before he went back to Japan.
Shannen opened the door and revealed Jin standing at the middle of the rooftop waiting for her, alone. She smiled, and ran to him, "Jin!"
Jin welcomed her with open arms and embraced her with all his might.
"Jin.. I'm sorry, I'm sorry I forgot..." Shannen apologized as she was crying.
"Ssshh... don't worry about it, what's important is, we're reunited again, and you remember everything now," Jin told her.
"Jin... I love you,"
"I love you too,"
Jin leaned forward and Shannen tiptoed to reach Jin and kissed him. They kissed sweetly, steadily and passionately, giving all of their love to each other through that kiss. Jin felt the bracelet on Shannen's wrist and smiled as he was kissing his girl.
