[fic] 2 drabbles
♠ missed opportunity | yuto&nocchi | 302 words | G
for emiichan
When he got the schedule for JUMP’s Music Japan appearance, his heart skipped a beat when he saw ‘Perfume’ in the list.
Nocchi-san will be there.
During the filming, Yuto felt a little disappointed that Nocchi wasn’t in his team, but glad at the same time that she’s not on the other team.
After filming, he approached Nocchi. “Nocchi-san,” doki doki went his heart. The ‘Complete Best’ album that he’s holding was still in mint condition from the day he bought them a couple of years ago.
She turned to him with her eyes wide. “Yes? Nakajima-kun, right?” He nodded, feeling giddy that she knows him.
Maybe there’s a chance for me.
He fiddled with the album for a while before showing it to Nocchi. She looked at him with a confused look. The words that he’s rehearsed yesterday didn’t seem to come out and so Nocchi naturally assumed that he wanted her to sign the CD.
“Do you… want me to sign it?” Yuto could only manage a nod in front of her. “Why didn’t you say so, I didn’t know you’re a fan.”
After she signed it, she gave it back to Yuto. Their hands touched for a split second and Yuto mumbled incoherently before thanking her properly.
“Thank you, Nocchi-san,” he thought he must look like an idiot in front of her right now. She smiled back at him and started to walk away.
It’s now or never, Nakajima!
“Wait!”
“Yes?”
Before he could get the words out, A~chan came by and whisked Nocchi away, talking at high speed about their next shooting location. Nocchi could only looked at him apologetically before letting herself being dragged away by A~chan.
That little action ignited a little hope inside his heart. He’s determined on telling her the next time they meet.

He watched her from across the room, wondering if she still remembers him. He’d been trying to catch her eyes ever since the start of the segment.
Everytime she laughs, he can’t help but smile along. She’s still the same as before.
At the end of the filming, he was surprised that she came up to him.
“Hikaru-kun, I haven’t seen you in a while,” she greeted him with that radiant smile that never seems to leave her face.
That was when he realized everything is fine between them.
