Because It Feels Like The Media Is Shirking On This...
Not sure how many of you have heard, but Dick Cheney, the sitting Vice President of the United States, and Alberto Gonzales, former Attorney General, was indicted by a Texas Grand Jury on November 18, 2008. Proceedings are still underway.
So where's the "mainstream" media coverage that should have been all over this? Seems like it's easier to focus on turkey pardons instead. I didn't even find out until Thanksgiving Day when listening to a radio talk show. (And considering that I'm a bit of a junkie for print, visual, and audio news, that says a lot.)
Please spread the word. The more people who know, the better, especially if they try to move the case from state court to federal court on the chance that GWB can pardon them before 1/20.
