initial impresssions: ff13

finally started playing final fantasy 13. it came out last month, but i had end of the year work madness, a huge family visit, the holidays, and then an escape to costa rica, so haven't gotten around to it until now.

i've only played through the first 3 chapters so far but i can uniformly say that i like it better than ff12, which i had a lot of

i have a confession to make, eric... i got so annoyed with how stupid the breaking/battle system is that i put the game down to play indigo prophecy instead and i like that one so much better. i'm probably going to get distracted when mass effect 2 comes out this week and forget about ff13 for another month or so, making me wonder why the hell i bothered importing the japanese one...
