anyway, the way i tend to play 'tales of...' games is pretty true to how i am in real life. i spend all my money on food. XD;;; it doesnt even matter if its something for something i dont know how to cook yet. my immediate instinct is always along the lines of GOTTA BUY EM ALL.
i think im going to be severely underleveled for this game. the reason i never bought it new in japan was that id read reviews says the long load times are kind of an issue and i am an impatient bitch. the load times INTO the battles are ok, its the load times OUT that drive me up the wall. if the load time to get back to the world map/dungeon is LONGER than the actual battle itself (and you would know, too, since they time how long your battles are!) then something is wrong. i avoid battles when possible just because it gets on my nerves so much :(
also a small request, pls no spoilers at ALL for this game... and by at all i even mean teasing hints and stuff, i just dont want to know yet!! i know the tales of games are fairly predictable plotwise, but even so... i got spoilered for sui5 by having to use a walkthru (since it's almost impossible to get all 108 stars without one...) and it kind of upset me and ruined some of the enjoyment of the game... thats why i usually dont use walkthrus, half the time they spoil plot points etc in them, or if you're browing through their forums checking for levelling hints or whatever idiots on the boards will rampantly spoiler without spoiler warning :( so PLEASE no spoilers, i want to discover the story as i gently plod through the game (...trying to avoid encounters) :)

NBC you get fullprops for getting rebecca romin (sp?) aka MYSTIQUE to play a vengeful (?) tranny come back from the dead. SRSLY PROPS.
