I just listened to Wish You Were Here. What a tremendously powerful experience.
I'm still in a state of shock at the news that Syd Barrett is gone. 20 years after Greg Carroll was buried too, to the day. Not that they had anything to do with each other, but still, there's an added co-incidental impact for me there.
The first Pink Floyd song I ever heard was Shine On You Crazy Diamond. What an incredible song to serve as a tribute to Syd.
