The Return of the Examination Reviews (tm)
First day of Finals today and already the exams aren't pulling any punches!
Sat for my Language Learning Theories paper and ended up struggling a little with the two essays set. Trust me, it's not easy to write an opinion paper on a theory when you're not entirely sure what your actual opinion on the subject is. The second paper was tough in the sense that I wasn't sure exactly what 'reasons' the question was asking for. I mean, sure, I had a plethora of reasons crammed into my head, but couldn't figure out exactly which ones the question really wanted.
Coupled with test anxiety, it made for a pretty tired me by the time I exited the exam hall.
Hmmm, maybe before the next exam, I should go get me a little drunk or something to 'lower my inhibitions' - hey, if it worked for Guiora et. al (1972), it might just work for me. (Though granted, those participants in that study didn't have to do any writing whatsoever and therefore didn't have to worry about their handwriting...) Now, if only I liked alcohol. =/
