Got a shock earlier when my coursemate asked me if I had checked my results for last semester's Finals - the dean said they'd probably be released on the 7th, so I hadn't steeled myself properly for, uh, any blow my grades may deal me.
So after the compulsory 'Okay, what's-done-is-done-I-can't-change-anything-ZOMGI'M GOINGTODIEEE' pep-talk to myself, I
opened the UTAR website, logged in and opened the exams results page to see...
1 MPW2113 BAHASA KEBANGSAAN (A) EX
2 UALJ2013 INTRODUCTION TO JAPANESE A
3 UALL2063 MALAYSIAN LITERATURE IN ENGLISH A
(Exempted from BM; my SPM grade met the minimum requirements for that subject)
*DIES IN A HEAP OF RELIEF ALL OVER THE FLOOR*
Seriously, I was really worried for my MLE subject, especially since, in my auto-writing-mode, I accidentally swapped the name of a character with one from a different story while doing a 10 (20?)-mark question ('Abdullah' for 'Zulkifli'; I'M SO SORRY, MR. LUKE PLEASE FORGIVE MEEE m(_ _)m). Thank goodness there was only one Malay character in that particular story; I shudder to think of what might have happened if the mistake had happened in another question...
Didn't help that I was apparently the only idiot who tackled 'The Cord' for the last 20(30?)-mark question when everyone else did 'We Could **** You, Mr. Birch'.
But this is a nice piece of news to start off the new year on, so yay, phew and whoopee! (^O^) That's one worry off my mind (or, in Max's words, one cliff off my back, I suppose)!
Back to uni in seven days; the holidays were too short, darnit. T^T
