“Of course I don’t mind free dinner,” joked Nino, laughing as he received a playful punch on the shoulder.

As he had promised, Nino turned up at Jun’s place that night, drooling at the thought of having Jun’s famous pasta. A few seconds after he pressed the door bell, Jun appeared, holding a spatula in hand and looking incredibly sexy in the purple apron he had on.

“Nino, hurry come in before your fever worsens,” said Jun, pulling the smaller man into his house before slamming the door in the cold wind’s face.

“Filming ended later than I expected, so I’ve barely started before you came,” explained Jun, returning to the kitchen while Nino shrugged off his coat in the living room.

“I can help if you want,” said Nino, appearing beside Jun.

“No, it’s fine,”

“Come on, Jun, I’m not Sho,”

In the end, Jun gave in and allowed Nino to prepare the Carbonara sauce. While Jun was chopping up some carrots, he could not help but steal glimpses of Nino every once in a while, and the way Nino tasted the sauce and frowned at its imperfect taste made him look so cute than Jun wanted to just hug the smaller man and not let him go.

While his eyes focused on Nino, his hand continued chopping away…

“Ow!” cried Jun, dropping the knife as he pulled his hand towards himself. Jun’s shout distracted Nino from his task, making him go over to Jun to see what the fuss was.

“Since when were you this careless,” asked Nino, a hint of amusement in his voice as he watched Jun try to stop his left index finger from bleeding.

“Not funny, Nino,” hissed Jun, running over to the sink to wash his wound.

Sighing, Nino went to fetch Jun’s first aid kit. Leaving the box near the sink, Nino took Jun’s finger and applied pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding. Being pressed against Nino, Jun could not help but look away incase the smaller man saw his pink face.

“I thought I was supposed to be you looking after me, not the other way round,” said Nino as he helped applied cream onto the wound before putting a plaster on it. Once he was done, Nino looked up and Jun to tell him that they could continue cooking, but when his eyes met Jun’s, all the words became stuck in his throat.

Jun’s brown orbs were fixed onto his, but unlike the usual serious expression he usually had on, Jun had a rather sappy expression on.

“Jun…”

“I like you,” he blurted out.

“Jun….”

“I like you very much,” repeated Jun with more confidence this time.
