The I'm Batman Argument.

Do any of you have a sibling? Well when I was little my younger brother laid claim to the Batman costume leaving me to be whichever female villain or hero or even robin I could throw together with the other costume pieces. Every argument or makebelieve spar ended with a drastic loss on my part with the simple answer of "I'm Batman" to whatever ridiculous situation altering thing he had done to 'win'.

We are 22 and 19 respectively... we were doing some light tap hits and blocks and I let him glance along one arm to twist and turn into an elbow to the sternum and leg to back of knee combo for a full takedown. It was fun... and what does he say when I successfully take him down? "I'm military that hand had a knife in it." Me: "Wait what? How! If you don't state you have an imaginary weapon at the start you don't have one!" Him: But I am military- of course I have a knife in that hand. Me: You make no sense. Him:"I'm a soldier."

I feel like no matter how far we go we always come back to this argument. The character changes but the intent remains the same. Yet,I am still baking the brat cookies.

Holidays. ^_^
