Its November, and we're still having 82F weather. Sporadic showers today, where it rains for 10 minutes, stops for half an hour, and picks up where it left off. I'm sick enough as it is, and the alternating hot cold weather will probably make it worse :( *shakes fist at sky ( Read more... )

so apparently there are two types of flu; one is the um 'heaty' one( because one didn't drink enough liquid, comes with er dry cough) and the other is the 'cooling' type (common cold). yours is the cooling one (eh the one with the mucus and stuff), so you're not suppose to take 'cooling stuff' like um chrysanthemum tea but leung cha is okay. get well soon!

urk... i think dad was referring to other types of herbal tea.

wait, are all herbal teas leung cha? i got myself confused again.

well, thats the supposed english translation but, not all herbal teas are 'leung'. theres the bitter kind, the sweet kind, the tasteless kind... heh.
