Seriously though...are you guys sharing, or do you actually refer to 'housemate' when you say 'roommate'? If you are sharing, just tell him to tidy up, because it upsets you. It doesn't pay to be too polite.

I'll admit I'm REALLY untidy - but I do my best to ensure that people I'm living with are OK with me, so I keep the places outside my own room tidy. Have a word with your mate - he'd be happy to keep things neater for you, if he knows you're upset by his stuff. I would.

Yes ma'am. Roomate ma'am. and yes I'm the fellar with the psycho roomate. I've already asked him to pack his room once :) and he shoved somestuff underneath his bed. better then nothing i suppose. He always says: "sorry bout the mess, i'll get it packed later," and when i come back, it looks the same. lol.

and thats his dirty laundry strewn everywhere.

I suggest you move out ASAP. Try renting around nearby areas, preferably get a room of your own. It's psychologically unnerving to have a dirty room...unless it's your own though. Sounds like your mate is pretty selfish.

My mate? ewww. that sounds so... wrong. Nearby housing apartments are all full actually.
I've already checked :( USC took in a record number of students, some 3500 plus students, there wasn't enough dorm rooms on campus to go around.

Its one thing to be messy. Its another to be diry. Messes I can stand :)
