Happy Easter!
Happy Eat A Shit-Ton Everybody...Right...okay so that acronym didn't quite work out.
Anyway, I want everyone to have one extra bit of chocolate on my behalf today. I like chocolate but if I eat more than one or two eggs I get sick, so the rest is for y'all.
On this Easter Sunday, I would also like to take a moment to pay tribute to one of my personal favourite obscure comic book characters.
The White Rabbit!
A comedy villain to a comedy superhero, the Fabulous Frog-Man. She shows up very very occasionally as comedy fodder in Spider-Man comics. Tends to provide unintentional er...comedy and, in one of my favourites as a kid, she teamed up with 'The Walrus'. A villain with the proportional speed, strength and agility of...a walrus.
Upon hearing this Spidey bust a gut laughing and then got punched in the face. Apparently Walrus considers the fact he says things he thinks are completely normal but make others laugh uncontrollably, a superpower.
The fun thing about White Rabbit is that she just decided to dress up like a rabbit, team up with hired actors dressed as Alice in Wonderland characters and steal things for kicks. She doesn't need to at all, she's from a wealthy family, smart and incredibly literate, but had her rich older husband killed anyway so she could fund a "super" villain career. A career that involves robbing fast food joints and cheap jewelery stores.
