Shockwave Kidnappings - Oct
For game reference (since I've already spoken with the folk this is happening to), the following people are being kidnapped by Shockwave on the following days for the following reasons:
The List of Culprits!
Sept 28th-30th: DW!Starscream will have his vocals modulated to the exact frequency that shatters glass, since he seems to have an affinity for tormenting others. Anything not re-enforced will crack and break when he speaks to it/around it in person. Additionally, his cloneable-bits are being documented for future nefariousness. (Starscream is also cleared for this to be pushed back a day or so so that he can participate in the current Starscream event and the Classifieds.)
Oct 1st-3rd: IDW!Sunstreaker will have his ID bolt removed since he's been so keen on it in the past, so that Shockwave can see just how long he lasts without new touches to his paintjob. This will result in lots of hardships with bank accounts/records/communications, but he'll at least be faster to avoid the authorities with the new speed upgrades he's getting as well~
Oct 4th-6th: Movie!Barricade will be receiving a facial makeover to something almost primaxian, since Shockwave noticed humans reacting negatively to him and is curious what might change that. He'll also receive an advanced holographic emitter for better communications on their level.
Oct 7th-9th: Vergil will be upgraded with a modular device that emits a frequency very similar to that of a Cybertronian signal or spark, to allow his future mech shell to seem less suspicious and make other Cybertronians more comfortable around him.
Oct 10th-12th: Animated!Blackout will be undergoing an intelligence upgrade in order to make him into a more useful little subject, and will also receive a drone-docking bay, so that when he has saved up for his own pet he will have a means of supporting it.
Oct 13th-15th: SG!Soundwave will be given a 'composition' upgrade, allowing Shockwave to utilize some of the sound technology he picked up studying Agent J. This will allow Soundwave to better 'sense' the 'music' that goes on around him in terms of color/emotion/situation/person, so he'll get song ideas that relate directly to his experiences and who he is with. If they're played with his special instrument it will '+1' the inspirations of those nearby...but only if he's got crystal clear concentration, which is going to be made difficult by the fact he can't get the songs that keep popping in his head to stop.
Undetermined: Animated!Dirge will be receiving a modified mouth and digestive system that allows him to consume almost any substance and convert it into energon, in order to better feed his desires. Of course, this doesn't mean he's capable of chewing through anything, but if he can get it into small enough pieces...
--This will occur at the end of Dirge's Spark plot.
Undetermined: Xigbar will be having a conversation with Shockwave to determine his future loyalties~ Will potentially exchange information about Seekers for information about the natures of the heart.
What this means!
The above dates are the times that your character is GONE during. What this means is that, if your dates are Oct 4-6, then you are in the Nexus and going about your daily lives on the 3rd, are kidnapped first thing in the morning/midnight on the 4th, are no where to be seen on the 5th and 6th, and return to the city/awareness on the 7th with no memory of the 4th-6th having occurred (ie, you usually think that its the 4th.) Where you come back is random, and up to you. It can be in any Zone, anywhere.
How to get involved with Shockwave Plots!
From now on, there are three ways to get involved.
The first is to be active. The more consistently you post, the more likely the mods are to notice something interesting you are up to. Interesting things give us good inspiration for experiments and upgrades and make it more likely that your character will be tapped in the future. Interacting with Logan or Shockwave or other NPCs is especially helpful.
Additionally, keep an eye out for special plots or events. Participation in events often leads to special prizes in and out of character for those who have gone that extra step or done something really creative. In these cases, too, you often get to pick a special upgrade that is entirely your choice.
Finally, there will be occasional call-outs for people to participate in experiment groups. All that you'll need to do if one of these goes up is make a comment to say you're interested.
Generally, modifications are moderator suggested and then worked out with muns to come up with something that is just the right fit~
