WHO: Sam Witwicky & Mikaela Banes
WHAT: Sam still feels awkward around Mikaela but can't ignore her birthday. So he's going to do something nice for her (dinner) and try to fix this awkwardness. Woo! Two birds with one stone!
WHERE: Some restaurant
WHEN: Now.
WARNINGS/NOTES: Massive awkwardness.
When Mikaela's birthday passed ten days ago, Sam couldn't bring himself to actually try to do something around her. He'd been here for a few months but no matter what, he couldn't shake the awkwardness. Something felt... weird between them. Like it wasn't right. But he was her friend, right? So what if it wasn't anything more - he was just happy being friends with such a hot chick.
But after Sam sat himself done and worked up the courage, he decided that he was going to get rid of this awkwardness. Upon deciding that, he flipped out his communication device and asked Mikaela if she was up for dinner tonight, his treat.
It took Sam awhile to try and figure out where exactly he was going to take her. Again, they were just friends. So it couldn't be anywhere fancy, even if he wanted to treat her to something really nice. But he did it, he found a nice casual place with decent food.
But he wasn't sure what they were going to do afterwards. Should he even plan that sort of thing out? Should he even expect them to do anything after dinner?
Man, this was way too confusing. He's a guy. Isn't he suppose to have the role of simple thinking where as the female has all the complex and weird type of thinking?
Sam decided to just shut his brain off. He was going to stop thinking about things is such detail for the time being and just let things flow. If he thought about it too hard, it might just make the awkward atmosphere around them worse.
An hour before he was suppose to meet up with Mikaela, Sam headed out to said casual restaurant. In the process of even walking out of the door, Sam tripped over his legs at least twice and even more by just walking.
Half hour before meetup. He was already there, with the table and a medium sized box in the middle of it.
Now all he had to to was wait.
