Hopefully, this would go over without a hitch. It seemed like it would actually... a stay in a nice hotel, free services, and with his favorite clone at his beck and call.
Yeah. This could be pretty good.
"Very nice, Sunstorm." He humored the orange-cream colored mech, testing out one of the berths.
"Not bad at all, actually..." He quirked an optic ridge slightly as he laid back and stretched out with a sigh.
"How did you land something like this again? Remind me to not yell at you as much."

Luxury was terrifying, after all. It lulled you into a false sense of security, when in reality they could strike at any moment. Skywarp wasn't too sure who "they" were, but he still found the fact that they were staying here for free incredibly suspicious.
"I d-don't know," he said unhappily, twisting his claws together nervously. "It doesn't seem safe. H-have you checked under that berth?" he added to Starscream, staring anxiously at the berth where his creator lounged and the very scary shadows beneath it.

The orange Seeker's attention flipped like a switch onto Skywarp. "Have no fear, my cautious brother," he assured, "I have checked under the berths myself. Nothing to be frightened of! You should try and lay on one!" He gently cajoled Skywarp toward the bedroom, pushing lightly but enthusiastically at his wings. "Do! Do! They're so comfortable!"

"Primus, Skywarp." He swung open the closet door, "See? Stop being such a protoform. This is supposed to be a vacation and I'll be hard pressed if you spoil it for me."

He flinched again as Starscream opened the closet, but true to the Seeker's words, there was nothing inside. "S-sorry! I'm sorry, I'll t-t-try not to b-bother you!" But oh, it was going to be hard. What if he was scared of something and didn't warn Starscream and then it ended up killing them all? Starscream would be so angry and Skywarp would never forgive himself!

But then: "--Just pay no mind to the hoard of inquisitive people waiting outside."

A beat.
"Hoard of- what?!" Starscream turned to his creamsicle-colored clone with a hard glare.
"What did you get us into, you fool?"
Reply
"P-people? W-w-waiting outside?!" He whimpered, eyes widening, and looked like he wanted to bolt. "I knew we shouldn't have come! Th-th-they're gonna catch us and h-hurt us and- and-" Skywarp's already fragile nerve finally broke and he vanished in a blip of purple light. A couple seconds later, a pair of terrified red optics peered out around the closet door that had been left ajar.

[ooc: ha haaaa sorry this log is so silly and seemingly pointless |D I figured next parts would just be them having an encounter with a hoard of demanding interviewers before closing up. It'd be a timeskip, so if your next replies want to be just them dealing with the reporters, it can end there. |D]

So as it were, roughly ten cycles later they headed out to one of the pools.
But at least Starscream still wasn't talking.

Just when he was starting to relax, the appearance of a reporter tapping his arm made him shriek in terror and teleport beneath some nearby pool furniture.
