WARNINGS/NOTES: Ratchet's always right? At least so he thinks, anyway.... (Also, I AM SORE so be aware that tags will be SLOW.)
Ratchet's in his clinic, which isn't surprising. He's already got paying customers - there's a decent amount of Primaxians who just Feel Better when they have a Ratchet to report to, no matter how long they've been in the Nexus, and it helps that word on the street is that he's good. He's also cheaper than he should be, for the location.
(Ratchet might be feeling guilty about charging, but that doesn't mean he won't. He just undercuts the competition by 30%.)
His clinic is quite the space- the building has a wide, easily accessed hallway that leads to his door, which is large enough to admit Jetfire (if he bent) and fortified far too well for a regular clinic door... but all things considered, Ratchet's a warbird, and a little security is perfectly understandable.
The clinic is large, open, and very bright. The shape is roughly octagonal, and there are berths set into niches that can't really be considered 'rooms' along the outside of the space, set with sliding duraplast doors for the occasional needed privacy. There's a larger operating space set at the back, and a bench towards the front, but Ratchet hasn't even considered setting up a waiting room, or even receptionist. You come in, he looks after you. It's just that simple.
The one thing that should/would/can catch your eye is the fact that he has a set of tracks set along the entire ceiling - and a very strange hanging apparatus of.... arms. Nine of them, ending in different tools and graspers. They sit dormant when he's not working, retracted up; if you walk in while he's operating on anyone you'll see why he works alone - there's no need for an assistant when he has a machine that reads his thoughts and replaces four capable assistants most days.
