Down wind and a zone away the monolith's chared square, there is a alleyway.
The alley is strewn with leftover trash from the weeks of celebration from the pixel festival - half-burned wishes on paper and cloth, torn free and blown down through Axiom's levels; vender refuse, crumpled up and thrown away: everything from pretty streamers and trickets and packaging, dirtied up and tossed without care, now that the sparkling pixel drones were not longer around to keep everything looking pretty for.
Clean up was slow, and the alley with the broken street lamp was of little importance; little enough that a pile of rubbish could hide a robotic corpse. Forgotten, ignored, and half-buried since the night of the attack, where anyone searching the area could easily find it...
