Starscream actually wasn't in the mood for this. At first he dismissed this one as just another moronic alternate. He cared almost about it as he did one of his clones. But it was obvious this one wasn't a clone and was more like him then he cared to admit.

During their discussion it almost made him wonder if that was what Jetfire had to deal with all those years. And that sort of bothered him. Nothing like seeing yourself in order to notice ones own flaws.

He also hated that sort of thing.

Starscream arrived rather quickly, though not too fast. He didn't want the other Starscream to think he was anxious or anything. Besides it was better to arrive graciously late than dramatically early.

Transforming, he landed a short (but not too short) distance away from the other Starscream -- not that he was aware it was him at first. He scanned the area for a moment before finally letting his gaze rest on the unfamiliar mech.

Who was this?

He stepped forward a bit. Mental alarms rang alerting him that this very could well be a trap. But Starscream wasn't about to back down from anything.

"... Who are you?" He asked with a stern expression.

Oh, Starscream had forgotten about that flaw in his plans- more that he hadn't really connected the two together until now. Not until being faced with... himself. He missed that chassis more than he wanted to let on. And he was jealous, just remembering being able to own the skies and fly as he pleased. To think that Galvatron had taken that away... bitterness and revenge flooded his thoughts. As much as it was interesting to be able to admire himself, it only made Starscream want to battle even more.

It was really the only exciting thing to do around here, anyway.

The other Starscream looked apprehensive- curious. Good. He may not have had his body, but throwing the enemy off guard? Perhaps that would serve him as an advantage.

"Who do you think I am?" he replied... loudly. There was no mistaking the voice, at least.

Starscream stared at the other mech for what might be considered an overly long moment. He seemed to be in a slight sense of disbelief -- but that voice. The voice combined with that body almost sent the Aerospace Commander into a fit of laughter.

Instead he kept himself calm and just smirked rather smugly.

"Really now. I was expecting something not quite so pathetic. I guess I was clearly mistaken."

He folded his arms across his chest. Oh this was going to be good.

"Decided on a new look I am guessing? Rather interesting if I do say so myself."

This other Starscream could no way be a match for him -- though it did suddenly dawn on him that this also might be part of some sort of trap. A new body with new advantages? He would like to give himself that much credit but he couldn't be sure. He also wondered briefly how much combat training this other Starscream possessed. Just the idea of a fight brought back memories of his battles with Grimlock. Perhaps this would be just as fun.
