It's all about the he said/she said... )
He's definitely NOT expecting a punch to the arm.
"...OW, what he SLAG?!"
Reply
But now he has to justify punching him. Without sounding like a whiny glitch. Frag.
"The frag was with you tackling Magnum?!"
... That works, right? He hasn't asked this question fifteen times already.

"...You MUST be kidding right now." They'd discussed this. He knew they had. He hadn't forgotten the twenty million arguments they'd gotten into, or the question as to why the FRAG Barricade cared so slaggin' much. Bonecrusher assumed it was because he needed so many repairs, and therefore caused Barricade some sort of unreasonable irritation.

He knows they've discussed this. And it had irritated him. Though it had terrified him more than he'd admit. It was Mission City all over again, except that they both managed to get out of it with limbs (mostly?) intact. And it was his fault. Again. "Could always ask why you shoved me out of the way, if you want."
Reply
"...Doesn't matter." It does matter, and it's not something they've really touched on yet - the fact that Barricade was torqued at him for tackling (or at least making a very valiant attempt to do so) had epically confused the mining vehicle, so that had usually been the primary focus of the arguments. Leaping at Magnum rang vaguely of Mission City.
This is different. A bit too personal, so he avoids the topic by giving Barricade a rough shove in the general direction of away.

"It matt-omph." He'd been a bit focused on the entire tackling issue, stuck on his failures to keep Bonecrusher's pouncing self intact. Even the victory of keeping his head on didn't help. But now that they'd had that argument repeatedly... he did have to admit that the shoving thing was... extremely strange.
He does stagger back as the shove, though it doesn't stop him from coming forward again and shoving him in return. "It matters. Why'd you do it?"
Reply
He ignores the started sentence in favor of scowling down at Barricade, claws balled into fists. He doesn't get why it matters, or maybe he does and he doesn't want to get it.
...Or something.
"It doesn't matter." He grunts at the return shove, optics flaring in irritation and anger. Resisting the urge to punch Barricade in the head, he settles for giving him a harder shove. "Leave it."
Reply
He's not even sure why he's making a big deal out of it. It had been odd for him, but he certainly wasn't angry over it. He knows what he's angry over. But that'd mean admitting that he actually felt something about the mockery, wouldn't it? He wasn't supposed to feel things about that.
"It does matter," he counters, jerking back a step with the shove since he knew it was coming. "And I ain't gonna leave it." He's still pissed, but it's being slightly overridden by his curiosity. It had been an awfully little thing, but now it confused him.

To be honest - Bonecrusher isn't terribly sure as to the whys of Barricade's anger this time. He's pretty sure about the general pissiness of his tackling tendencies, but this confuses him. He must be missing something important (which is NOT unusual).
"Why does it matter?" He shoots back, snarling as his intended shove misses. He lunges at Barricade haphazardly, but he knows Barricade's quick - he doesn't expect to make contact, this time.
Reply
Bonecrusher is missing it mostly because Barricade doesn't want to admit it. Being cranky about his tackling tendencies seems somehow less humiliating than being cranky over being mocked for his frame type.
He can guess that he's being lunged at before it happens. And he could get out of the way, if he wanted. Bonecrusher is big and injured to Barricade's fast and... not. He decides to take the hit anyway, grunting as they connect. "'Cause people don't do that," he retorts, giving Bonecrusher's arm a swat.

Bonecrusher hadn't been paying much attention to the comm chatter. He'd found the mute button, and had ignored all of it up until...well, he's still ignoring it, actually. He has no use for it at the moment, except maybe to moniter that slagging fleshing and plot ways to dissect him. Slowly.
"What the-" He doesn't expect them to connect, so the hit is awkward and hard and likely to knock them both to the floor in a tangled heap of flailing metal arms and legs.
"Some do!" Snarls, he works to untangle himself, but he uses the opportunity to level a punch aimed at Barricade's shoulders.
Reply
He'd probably crow about throwing Bonecusher off-guard if he wasn't squashed and tangled with him. And if one of his wings wasn't smashed under him at a bizarre angle, which earns a half-strangled snarl.
"Not f'r m-ngh!" Bonecrusher, you punch hard. For srs. He squirms to try to disengage himself from the tangle, smacking the other mech's chassis.
Reply
The snarl only encourages Barricade, and his claws dig dangerously into one of Barricade's arm plates. That doesn't help his effort to get up, however - instead its a serious hindrance considering his claws might be stuck in some of Barricade's cabeling. Frag.
"Sorry, did y'say something?" With an enraged roar, he reaches to knock Barricade's assault on his chassis aside and moves to pin him, snagging at his arms and finally shaking his hand free.
Reply
The pain of having those claws digging into his cabling and the hand attached forcibly pushing aside plating flares hot across his sensornet. His facial plating arranges into a grimace and he hisses, snarling again. Well, at least Bonecrusher is stuck to him for his trouble BB|
He doesn't want to finish what he'd started saying. It sounds too pitiful. Instead he thrashes under the other mech with a growl. "Doesn't answer why you'd do it f'r me." The hand finally shaking loose from his interior earns a slight squawk - oh, that feels so much better.
Reply
"'S cause it doesn't MATTER!" He snarls, smashing a fist into the ground by Barricade's head. Normally, that WOULD be Barricade's head but...
Well. It really just wouldn't to to squash his medics processor, now would it?
Reply
He jerks his head to the side instinctively. Squashing is processor would probably be a bad thing, yes, but he's still startled by the fact that he didn't end up with a fist in his face. "Yes it does!"
