WHO: Roger Maxson and Agatha Heterodyne
WHAT: Agatha wanted a closer look at Maxson's suit. He had to get civvies first.
WHERE: Agatha's workshop in Zone 6.
WHEN: After the earthquake results have been repaired.
Maxson probably should've gotten Agatha to look at his suit properly long before, but the fact was that he didn't have any real clothing yet. The Transtechs had nabbed him when he was on his way back from an evening patrol; his pack was in a tent somewhere in the California wasteland, and all his clothes were in it. He didn't call the stuff he wore under the armor proper clothing for meeting anyone who didn't have an M.D. after their name, frankly. Fortunately he'd managed to secure a small loan to be repaid as soon as he got proper work, and there'd been a suit of very plain civilian clothing for sale that was well within his budget. There'd even been enough left over to get a small handtruck, because he needed it to move the armor around if he wasn't in it.
Doubtless he got some odd looks as he made his way to Agatha's place. He didn't much care. Getting real maintenance for the suit was more important.
