He could simply have charged Ironhide with passing the data on, but the wait served well to calm his circuits, and personally knowing another bot had the data files lessened the risk that they might be 'disappeared' once again.]

The Matrix of your universe? ...interesting. It would explain the Transtechs interest though. I don't know what they did, but considering what they seem to have done to the young Orion...I doubt it was anything good if so.

And it's not a problem. It's more important to share our information here than anything else. It's the best defense we have against their greater technology. [He pauses, hand going to the panel on his arm.]

Thank you. I have no doubts that file should be safe with you. ...Though you might want to brace yourself. This may sting a little. [And he sends the file over. But taking a lesson from what happened with Ironhide, Optimus allows himself to 'mute' the file, at least for the transfer. Oh, it is there, brutality and all, but...dulled, more like watching a holovid that actually being forced to experience it firsthand.

They hardly need to after all. Optimus isn't trying to give Ironhide and Ratchet memories back that they had stolen from them.
