The Lightning Strike
WHO: Graham Spector and Vash the Stampede
WHERE: Outside, in the city streets
WHEN: During the lightning storm
WHAT: Vash is out in the weather. So is Graham. This goes nowhere good.
NOTE: BACKDATED to the lightning storm
Oh this was not good. This was so very not good.
There were giant robots getting hit by lightning, and the storm just looked like it was getting worse. He didn't have a place to hide, and the Angel wasn't answering her messages.
Even the humaniod typhoon probably couldn't survive being hit by one of those lightning bolts. He'd never been hit by lightning before. It might not kill him, but he could bet it wasn't going to be pleasant. And Vash had no desire to try it out while he was surrounded by scary metal people.
So instead, he'd taken shelter in a sewer grate in one of the upper zones. Things were rustling in the lingering rubble--still leftover from the riots--but it had been the first place the homeless gunslinger had found that didn't look liable to collapse.
He just wished there were a grate to cover the front with. Anything could get in here...
