Skywarp had been expecting -or rather dreading- a visit from Sunstorm ever since the orange clone had busted back in the apartment, but... he'd said nothing, hiding to the best of his abilities in the box, hoping the wings wouldn't peek out and his fellow clone would be too busy with whatever seemed to have him so riled up today, to bother with him.

Even with all those precautions, he was more than a little panicked when his box shook, a shadow falling across him. "S-sunst-" he squeaked, optics wide in sudden anxiety; "N-no thank you! Thank you b-but... I'm v-very busy here, as you can see."

Sunstorm was vibrating with excitement. He couldn't just stay indoors, not now! "But it is so much more fun when you've got such entertaining and wonderful company, such as yourself, with you!" he declared. It would have been nice if the others could go, but Slipstream was a wee bit upset with him and Ramjet and Thundercracker, well, if they could go, that'd be great, too. But Skywarp was right here.

Sunstorm carelessly gave the box a shake. "Come now, my good 'brother'!" he exclaimed. "We're going to party and I'm going to show you a wonderful time!" Shake shake shake. "It's much too great and exciting outside to stay indoors all day!" Shake shake shake.

With a panicked squeak, Skywarp reached for the edges of the box, gripping them tightly for safety when the whole thing started shaking.

"S-stop! Please!" he cried, "I d-don't want to p-party anywhere!" His voice rose to a high-pitched string of hiccups, and he almost considered warping somewhere else, but- "D-don't break my box, p-please? I-I'll come out b-by myself! Just stop shaking! Please!"

Sunstorm cheered triumphantly and happily. "Spectacular!" he exclaimed before flipping the box carelessly over on its side. "We're gonna paint this exciting town yellow, orange, red, black and purple!" Sunstorm shouted before leaning down, shoving an arm in the tipped over box and grabbing much too tight and menacingly to be comforting onto Skywarp's arm. He then wrenched him out with careless ease.

The gasp that escaped Skywarp when his 'fort' was tipped over was nothing compared to his strangled squeal when Sunstorm grabbed him so uncomfortably rough and close.
He struggled weakly, squirming in the orange jet's hold. "L-let me go please! I-I have an irrational fear of m-mech-handling! I'll go! "

"And your fears, as irrational as they may be, are understandable!" Sunstorm assured. But wasn't very reassuring at all. Instead he yanked Skywarp over to the hole in their wall (only repairs were half complete; with him working and the other clones apparently too lazy to do anything, who knows when it'd get finished) and wrapped the previously clutching hand around the coward's shoulders, right behind his wings. He yanked him practically hip to hip, cheekplate to cheekplate.

"Ah, look at it, Skywarp!" Sunstorm swooned and swept one graceful arm over the smoggy Zone 7 skies peeking just above the building blocking out most of their view. "These skies are calling for action! And as as such, we should comply! It is what we were born to do!" he insisted. He bounced against Skywarp with sheer adrenaline, some of which he had still "borrowed" from those fighting mechs. "Tonight, the Nexus is all ours, my fine fellow friend!"

Skywarp squealed some more, optics growing really bright and threatening some nervous drops of coolant.
He really didn't want any Nexus, really. Not tonight, not ever.

And he wasn't fond of the awkward closeness either, yipping in fear every time Sunstorm bumped his his against his.
"S-sunstorm, the place might still be dangerous- w-we don't know if the layout of the city changed after the chaos and fire, a-and people might still be on alert and attack us just b-because we happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong moment!" He whined, wringing his hands and frantically looking around.

"I was out about town not too long ago! Everything is just as perfect as before!" Sunstorm then slugged Skywarp playfully in the shoulder. Buddies did that, right? "And have faith, have faith my cautious little compatriot, I will throw myself before you in the line of fire if it should happen!" But that big grin and even bigger optics weren't exactly trustful.

"If the others would like to join us, and that would be so fun! They can comm us or hunt down our energy signals!" It wouldn't be too hard to locate Sunstorm. He was like a tiny little sun. Regardless, he let the purple and black clone go and climbed onto the edge of the hole. "Come now, graceful Skywarp!" Sunstorm exclaimed before transforming and taking off. He did not go far, turning his nosecone pointedly at his brother. "We fly like hummingbirds!"

"I-if you say so," Skywarp muttered unhappily, transforming and hovering in mid-air below Sunstorm, as if he thought some bomb could suddenly rain from above and- well, hit the other clone first since he was conveniently shielding him.

"J-just a short flight, yes?" He hopefully added, ailerons clacking juuuust slightly in nervousness.

Sunstorm dipped to the left a bit, letting wing tip gently nudge Skywarp's. "Oh, now's not the time to be frightened, Skywarp! I'll make this journey worth it! High ho!" he shouted before looping tightly upward, belly nearly scraping along the side of the building before stabbing through open, hazy skies. "It's going to be fun! I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready!" he cheered and went straight again.

The black jet flinched, trying to draw back from the touch, and unenthusiastically followed, his trajectory much, much more linear than his companion's despite some swaying, most likely caused by a combination of being tense and frantically checking all of his instruments at once, making sure the coast was clear.

"See?" The jet turned to the horizon. God, this town was run down and not very attractive, but it was-- "Beautiful, don't you agree? Ah, it's nice to be able to stretch your wings instead of being in a box all orn!" His chassis gave a little shake for emphasis. "Now. I think it's time I took you to the most exciting place in all of Axiom Nexus." And that was the casino/entertainment district. Without waiting, he went on ahead, expecting Skywarp to follow.

Skywarp didn't quite share Sunstorm's golden vision.

"My box is just fine," he complained, wishing he'd hidden better.

Even so, he didn't dare disobeying, and sped up just enough to keep up with the other jet.

TIME SKIP obsequiouslysir September 26 2009, 00:54:12 UTC
Sunstorm had led Skywarp upwards, until they had finally reached the entertainment district, which looked a lot like an otherworldly version of Las Vegas. It was brilliant, full of lights and sounds and emotions all in big flurry ball, the streets flooded with a variety of creatures, both big and small, organic and mechanical, and something in between and anything but. Truly a perfect place for Skywarp.

Sunstorm landed in an alley just between two smaller casinos. He transformed and looked to Skywarp with his huge shit eating grin. "Isn't this extraordinary!?" he exclaimed over the roar of cars and other vehicle-like objects moving down the street just a few yards away.

The horror.

Skywarp was looking around with the wide, frightful optics of someone who was expecting an attack from every corner, every doorway. Funnily enough, he had a feeling in this specific shady area, his fears were more than justified.

He seemed to try and shrink on himself as soon as he'd transformed, landing awkwardly in the narrow alley. "S-sunstorm," he tried, are you sure we want to be here? It looks..." a pause, in which he squirmed miserably, "-packed."

"Of course!" Sunstorm shouted and once more swung an arm over his buddy's shoulders, yanking him too close for comfort. He walked the poor terrified Skywarp down the alley and out onto the sidewalk, greeted by more people, this time up close. "I wanted to show you where I work!" Sunstorm said.
