Considering the size difference between them, if Slipstream knew of Kang's feeling, she would have laughed. Hard. And long.
As it was, she got there a few minutes early, judging the airspace around the area; while she didn't hold any particular malice towards Kang, she did think this would be a very, very entertaining day. And she'd even planned it near the hospital so really, he should be approving of how thoughtful she was.
Speaking of which, there he was. She altered her route to land before him, a serious expression on her face. Because while fun was all well and good...well, she had to at least pretend she wasn't taking this as a joke, else he wouldn't play along.
Kang had gotten used to Cybertronians landing practically right in front of him when he was walking on the streets, so Slipstream's appearance just made him mutter another curse and veer to the right before he actually paid attention to who it was.
A nod, and his wings shifted behind him slightly; no smile, but his tone was neutral, "Slipstream. I do appreciate you helping me with this."
"I hope you're a fast learner. And that you weren't expecting me to be gentle. I brought along some cord, just in case..."
And she did. And while she was certain Kang would never just let her fly him like a kite...well, after he'd fallen quite a few times, that outlook may change.
Besides. She had no idea how much control he had over those thrusters already. Best to find out! "Can you even activate your thrusters?" she asked, curiosity showing through the snideness of her voice.
"Lucky for you, I am. And I know better than to expect gentleness from you; I wouldn't be gentle, either," Kang quirked an eyebrow ridge slightly, crossing his arms over his chest. "It won't be needed."
No way in hell was he ever going to let Slipstream do something like that, no matter the situation.
That much, he knew he could do. He'd made sure of it before contacting her so that he wouldn't look like a fool if it turned out the damn things didn't even work. Turning them on with a thought, the bozak ignored the low whine that began to emanate from the thrusters; he hadn't dared to try anything further yet. "That answer your question?"
And without so much as another word of warning, her hand snapped out, grabbing him in his claws - her own thrusters ignited at the same motion, propelling her up into the air with her new 'cargo'.
"Then let's see how well you can do without my help!"
Kang didn't even have any time to react before Slipstream picked him up in her claws. Hissing, he couldn't help but struggle for a moment, "Goddammit, warn me before you do that!"
And Slipstream laughed, climbing higher. There was only so high one could go in any zone before they touched another, but her self-imposed ceiling was more than great enough to make any nonflier woozy upon looking at the ground.
"Consider it being on your feet!...or wings, in this case. Do you want some warning before I drop you, too? Because I'm going to now."
And she did, eager to see how well he did without her 'help'.
Of course she'd laugh, the bitch. Kang wasn't really affected by the height, but the position he was in, with Slipstream's claws around his waist, wasn't the most comfortable, especially since it pinched his wings.
And then, he was dropped. Instinctively, those wings went out to slow his fall; the thrusters, however, didn't activate. They weren't genetic, so he didn't have the instinct to use them as he did his wings.
