[Is sitting beside the entrance lift to Kitt's apartment, his M-4 Carbin across his lap, alternating between watching the door and checking the monitor in front of him.

He doesn't look like he's slept much, and his expression whenever he looks at the screen is one of frustrated helplessness.]

[There would be a distinctly rough knock on the door.]

Sweeps. Open up.

[A softer voice murmers a reproach, and the original gruff voice tacks an addendum.]

[Tenses at the first statement, and starts to go for his gun when he hears the second softer one. He stands and slings his rifle over his shoulder, moving to open the door and peer up]

Is there something I can do for you?

[There are two Transtechs, there, Military grade, one very large and tall and wide and bristling with weapons, the other much smaller and sleeker and slender.]

Inspections crew. We are to search the premises. Resistance will not be tolerated. [Large mech is being just as gruff as before, and the smaller one sighs.]

We'll only be a moment. We're doing a sweep to weed out any illegal immigrants, items, data...

[The larger one steps inside past Will and starts sort of moving anything that gets in his way.]

May I see your ID bolt? [The small one finishes.] And are there any other beings present in your home?

[Shows up on the balcony overlooking the open area at the noise, peering down and seeing the Transtechs]

[The Military guy isn't being particularly careful in moving the very few furnishings, and that earns him a definite glare, complete with hands on hips]

Do you always just waltz into someone else's home and start throwing everything around?

[Moves out of the way. He bristles at the gruffness, but having done similar things himself on occasion, he understands how stressed they might be.]

Well, you won't find any here, but I imagine you can't take my word for that.

[Nods to the smaller one, who seems more reasonable.]

[Wants to calm her down before things get bad.]

Its always possible they have hidden here without your permission. [The smaller one continues, a set of what appears to be more sensitive scanning gear unfurling from its shoulders.]

[The large one looks up at Sarah.] We are performing a regulation search. [Which is followed by a chair going 'crunch' beneath his feet.]

Pulse Charge. [The smaller one shrieks, appalled.] And yes, apparently he does just waltz in and start destroying things.

[The larger one rumbles a vague appology.] Sorry.

[Smaller Transtech is breathing heavily, obviously trying to control its frustration.] I suppose you don't have ID bolts. [It holds out a hand-scanner and runs it over him.] Will Lennox. I presume that is your wife? Have either of you seen any illegal Megatrons or Primes around recently?

Search orders or not, it's just rude to destroy another person's property. [Huffs, coming down the stairs and giving the larger Transtech a look as she passes him, and holds out her arm to be scanned]

Yes, Sarah Lennox. We haven't seen any Illegals around.

[Shoots the big one an annoyed stare, but holds his tongue for the sake of his beleaguered partner. Besides, Sarah's outspoken enough for the both of them.]

Illegals. [Rumbles the large mech, who vanishes off into another room to keep his searching.]

[The smaller one scans the female, and then straightens, optics dimming slightly as it performs a full sensor sweep of the apartment with a multi-pitched thrum.]
...we have footage of a Megatron who seems to have been leading the parade, so to speak. [Continued thrum.] This is why we have rules against such figures in the city... [It sighs.]

[Moves over next to Will and takes his arm in hers, eyes staying on the larger mech to make sure he doesn't destroy anything else]

Not surprised, with that one.

[Lying? Oh yes, she is. She's noticed how the authorities haven't even really noticed Primes and Megatrons around until now.]

I'd heard that he'd shown up here, but I didn't know if the rumor was true or not. I was hoping the latter; he's a monster.

Megatron? That's sounds just like that bastard. [Pauses and glances at the small one] Pardon my language. I wish some one could have caught him before all this.

Oh, you have some experience with one in your previous world? [The small mech arches what can only be construed as eyebrows in astonishment.] That must have been quite an interesting experience.

[It continues scanning, and there is the sound of something else being crushed in the other room.] Pulse Charge. [Again the reprimanding shout, and again a drifting 'sorry' coming out from within.]

...he was Tyran in appearance, if I have judged my genealogy correctly. Your language is also excused. [It sighs.] I think its been a trying day for all of us.

[She rolls her eyes and sighs, then looks at Will with her brows furrowed.]

Didn't you see the newsfeeds? He... he ripped someone's arms off.

I did indeed see the newsfeeds. [The strange humming from the scanning equipment slows to a low whirring, and with great care the apparatus folds up, and back into the Transtech's shoulders.] I found them most distressing...

...but I am certain we will uncover his location on these raids. If he is in this city, then there is no way our scans will not find him. [It smiles.] Pulse Charge. Time to move on!

[And looks back to the pair.] Your cooperation was appreciated. [And hands will a data-chip with a barcode on it...the transtech equivalent of a business card.] If you see anything suspicious in the future, do not hesitate to contact us. Ask for a Prowl. There are normally two or three about.
