Agatha wasn't usually in zone 6, but she'd been feeling a bit adventurous that day, so there she was, walking along a road with rather questionable-looking shops.

She was surprised to see a human girl with her head in her hands, sitting on a bench, and slowed down.

"Are you all right?"

Mikaela hadn't exactly been expecting company. Another persons voice jerked her out of her rather comatose state and she smiled vaguely at the newcomer.

"Oh. Yeah, I'm fine. Just fine." She coughed and rubbed at her still slightly burning eyes and tried to smile again.

She didn't believe the girl. With eyes like that and looking tired and unhappy, there was no way she was fine.

"Lost?"

Without waiting for the answer, she sat down next to her on the bench.

Mikaela didn't mind if it she sat down with her. Honestly, she could use the company, even if she didn't know the girl.

"Mentally or like...actually lost?" Mikaela laughed hollowly, watching her as she sat down.

"Either or, really," she smiled, knocking some of the street dust off her pants with hands covered in grease stains.

"My name's Agatha Heterodyne. You?"

" A little bit of both, I think." Mikaela was filthy. She hadn't had time to change after yesterdays excursion into the rain, so she was in the same jeans and black tank as the day before.

"Mikaela Banes." She leaned back, eying her new companion speculatively.

"Nice to meet you, Mikaela." Agatha extended a hand to shake.

Honestly, filth didn't bother her too much. She'd seen much worse.

She grinned a little more genuinely this time, and shakes Agatha's hand.

"'S nice to meet you too, Agatha." She gestured with her other hand. "What brings ya down to this level, huh?"

"Just exploring after work., really. I haven't been in this zone very much yet."

She grinned back.

"What about you?"

"I did that not long after I got here too." She smiled. "Just don't go to much lower alone. Or at least, not without being armed." Which Mikaela definitely was.

"I'm looking for SAm. He um...he's missing." Her smile evaporates immediately. "Three days, now."

"Missing? That's terrible. What does he look like? I can help search for him, if you'd like."

Oh, she was definitely armed enough, with a small gun strapped to her right hip. She wasn't happy to hear that someone was missing, though. This place was too dangerous for that to be anything close to good.

"He's..." She digs around in the purse she carries for a minute before pulling out her old cell phone. It doesn't get reception here, but it has pictures on it.

"See? This guy." She hands it over to Agatha with a sigh.

What was that? It was similar in size to the communicators, but obviously different. Something from Mikaela's world? How interesting! The picture on the screen was far more important, however. She memorized it.

"I'll keep an eye out for him. Might be able to send some of my little helpers out to search too."

Mikaela pressed a button to flip through the few pictures she'd taken with her cell. "He's kinda goofy, brown hair, really sweet, kinda flaily..."

She blinked, then cleared her throat.

"I'd uh...appreciate it..." She paused, then blinked. "Helpers?"

At that moment, a little brass 'bot poked itself out from under Agatha's hair to look at Mikaela curiously.

"Yes. I like having assistants, so I build them."

"Whoa!" Mikaela jumped in surprise, but then leaned closer.

"Awesome! Look at that..." She's impressed, really she is. This is a nice distraction.
