It seemed Mikaela was doing well. She'd had visitors - good to see. Kitt hadn't gone in. It didn't seem right for a car to go indoors. Perhaps some habits from Earth were still ingrained, if they could ever be unlearned.
Somehow, he doubted they would ever be quite that unlearned.
He was patient, though, and would wait until Mikaela was released before moving. He had fuel consumption to think about for one thing, and a human who he had decided needed watching for another. Kitt could use the time considering how best his engine could be modified, and easily demodified, for the usage of energon. Even if he couldn't feel hope, he had to assume that he would get home eventually.
