Who: Kang, Movie!Ironhide, IDW!Jetfire, anyone else that wants to stop by. What: Hanging out, drinking, and sharing stories. :D Where: Zone 6, the Blue Deployer When: Right after this!
He really needed something better to do with his time, besides lurk around in bars. At this rate, he'd have no credits, and no credibility to speak of. But it was either that, or lie around doing absolutely nothing.
And he would never get back to fighting strength simply by laying still, despite what that neon idiot thought. This little drive was already going smoother than the last. With far less effort. He was barely tired when he arrived, and the transformation was far smoother as he stepped inside.
He'd only been here once, but it was well encoded within his memory banks.
Jetfire transformed midair and landed with a thump. He looked around the street, noting the dim street lighting and shadows alive with beings that dearly didn't want to be noticed.
It was a wonder he and Starscream had managed to leave this place unharmed, and he vowed not to get too inebriated this time.
Kang kept an eye on the door, having already ordered himself a drink. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't as good as Slith's cactus juice; he doubted he'd ever find any liquor that could compare to that stuff.
There. A black Transformer, that carried himself much like the bozak imagined this Ironhide did. He wasn't sure, though, so he stayed where he was, plainly visible.
Jets, Ironhide decided, would never cease making him nervous. When one landed not far behind him, it was all he could do to stop himself from firing on it. It was not Starscream, he reminded himself firmly. The scans were all wrong--it wasn't even a familiar signature. Not Cometfall either then.
He ignored the jet for now, save for a brief nod, and continued scanning the room... What was that? Not human. Not... anything reasonably familiar.
Jetfire gave the black-coloured mech standing at the entrance an odd look (and a wide berth) as he entered the Blue Deployer. The bar was as shady looking as he recalled it, but thankfully it wasn't as crowded.
Almost on a whim, Jetfire looked at the table where he and Starscream had shared a cube or two. He idly wished he could remember what had happened that night, but then shrugged to himself. Aside from agreeing to live together, nothing significant had occured (or so he thought).
Quickly scanning the area, he easily spotted the scaled organic sitting at an oddly shaped table. Seeing as it was the only winged and scaled organic around, he concluded this was probably Kang.
"Kang!" he called from the door and strode towards the table. "Good to finally meet you."
"You must be Jetfire. You're, ah, bigger than I thought you would be," Kang smiled, raising his drink in greeting and taking a moment to study the mech in front of him. "And you're late." The last bit was said in a teasing tone; he was looking forward to having someone to chat with.
Jet... fire? What? That was not... Jetfire. Jetfire was a pile of rust--not something that looked all the world like a giant version of Cometfall.
He stepped forward, approaching the table. At least this strange jet had given him the information he needed. "You are Kang?" he asked the odd-looking organic. "I am Ironhide." He glanced at the other 'Bot. "And you... are not the Jetfire I know."
"Yes, that's me," he smiled amiably at both beings. He hadn't known Kang had invited another 'bot to their little night out. "And it's hard to be late when we hadn't set up a time to meet, eh?"
He then looked at Ironhide with an understanding smile.
"It's good to finally meet you in the metal, Ironhide. I've heard a lot of you over the networks. I know my appearance may be a bit surprising if you're basing it off of what you know of your Jetfire. He's an interesting 'Bot to talk to, by the way."
So he was Ironhide. "I am. Pleasure to meet you," Kang lifted his glass to him as well and motioned towards the other chairs. "Sit down, have a drink. Isn't that why you came here?"
He grinned at Jetfire and pointed towards a clock on the wall (very useful devices, those), "But we did. I said an hour, and you're five minutes late."
Had Ironhide been organic, he would have colored at White-Jetfire's statement. "Heard of me?" he grunted. "A lot of me?" Somehow, that was more unnerving than this 'Bot being different than the other Jetfire. After all, it had happened several times already.
He took a seat when asked, shutting off his vocals before the little hiss could escape. He might have been feeling better, but not everything was back in full working order. Shutting off the pain processors could only work for so long. "It is," he said. "I came as quickly as I was able."
"Hope you didn't strain yourself too much," Kang remarked, taking a closer look at him. He was very... pointy in comparison with most of the other Transformers. Much like Arcee, but with a hell of a lot more armor and weaponry.
"All these different universes must be confusing as all hell," he shook his head.
"I did not," he said simply, pausing a moment to place his order once the drone Jetfire summoned arrived. "No matter what Ratchet would tell you."
He drummed one hand on the table, nodding briefly. "Busy with their respective duties," he said. "Both are employed as couriers. And guardians." At least, that was what he'd last heard from those two. Bumblebee was doubtless looking over Sam's shoulder as they spoke. "I am... adjusting... to these universes."
"Guardians? I knew Bumblebee was watching over Sa- ah, Mutt, but I didn't know Arcee was doing so as well," he commented before telling the drone what he wanted.
He'd start off with something light, thank you very much. The brew would be something between mid-grade and hi-grade, and he was confident it wouldn't make him overcharged after the first sip.
"This place really does take a while to acclimate, hmm? How have you two been managing so far?" he asked.
"Arcee... I met her before. She's guarding the human girl Mikaela, right?"
Kang nodded, "That's an understatement. On my world, there are very few machines, non sentient, and the ones that do exist... they're likely to explode on you more often than work." After muttering briefly about gnomes in Nerakese under his breath, he added, "That, and as far as I can tell, I'm the only one of my kind in the entire city."
He nodded to both. "Bumblebee has always looked after the boy, since we located him," he said. "Arcee has taken to Mikaela only recently... following what occurred in Egypt."
This was comfortable. Talking simply between warriors. At least, that's what he assumed the other two were. Hard not to be a jet that big and not be used as some sort of weapon. "Fine," he said. "Aside from... the Not-Cons appearing..." He shot a glance at the one called Kang. "Only one? You are certain?"
And he would never get back to fighting strength simply by laying still, despite what that neon idiot thought. This little drive was already going smoother than the last. With far less effort. He was barely tired when he arrived, and the transformation was far smoother as he stepped inside.
Now to find this... Kang...

He motioned for a serving drone to come and take their orders before turning to Ironhide with a smile.
"I've talked with others from your universe before. How is Bumblebee and Arcee anyway? I haven't heard much about them lately."
