WARNINGS/NOTES: Potential robot!vampirism. You know you want Soundwave sucking on your (Cybertronian) neck, just admit it. If you want to be a victim, just make a note in your post - I'm totally fine with people escaping as well.
His attention should have been distracted by the presence of the small organic in their base of operations. There was no possible way that anyone, even a human, should have slipped by his notice. They still had life signs, there had to have been movement - Outside of teleporting, entrance to the Hollow should not have been possible.
But at that particular moment, Soundwave was pre-occupied.
There was something more pressing than information, than security, than even the continued protection of Megatron - And while he didn't fully understand the nature of the urge, he couldn't bring himself to question it. He required sustenance, and not just from their energon stocks.
Cannibalism was generally frowned upon, even in Cybertronian society - That much was evident, based on the failure that was the Swarm. But unlike the mangled frankenstein that the would-be Insecticons had become, Soundwave didn't require the entire shells - For some, inexplicable reason, he only really wanted the energon that filled their lines.
Well, perhaps not inexplicable - The intruder had certainly had something to do with it. He'd felt the physical change in his mouth; the unnatural extension of dental plating, sharpened for piercing through plating... It was similar to how the child had looked. It was only logical to assume that the transformation was somehow related.
But he would think about it later. For now, he had far more... pressing matters to attend to.
