Wing was tired, when he arrived home from his job, but it was the good kind of tired. He thought he’d finally gotten a handle on Suiken and Seizan. There has been a 50% drop in Drawing on Wing and Glitter Pelting. Progress.
It was not perfect, so bright confetti fluttered from his transformation seams as he shifted modes on the apartment’s small landing pad. The apartment was dark as he entered, so he thought, briefly, that he was alone.
As he crossed the main room, though, he saw the flickering light of the vidscreen, and in front of it, in silhouette, his newest apartment mate, Perceptor.
He headed toward the kitchen. "Can I get you something, Perceptor?"
