She's still getting used to the city, mapping it out and just getting used to the feel of everything. It's something that she does in any city she goes in, nothing new, except normally she's there because she wants to be or her mission has taken her there. It's definitely not because a race of synthetics randomly decided to bring her into the city ( ... )

"Oh! It's you!" Megamind looks up from his work, green eyes fixing on Shepard with intense interest; he passes his datapad to one of the brain bots as he strides over.

He is not a tall man -- not even with big headedness involved, so he probably doesn't come off as intimidating, despite the fact he wears a spiked mantle and a lot of black leather.

"These are my brain bots," he asys, gesturing to the little drones. "We are working. Together. On a project. It doesn't involve their world dominatino, I assure you."

Someone is still a little testy about their last conversation.

Shepard is surprisingly unfazed by the leather and spikes; she's seen it all in her travels. She does eye him though, not exactly what she'd automatically consider the hero type, but they came in all shapes, sizes and colors--her own team is proof of that.

"Hey, you want to build robots to help with your projects, none of my business," she raises her hands. She really isn't here to argue with him. "It was only fair I'd give you a heads up."

She inspects the nearest one, with their tentacles and round heads they vaguely remind her of hanar, only far less intelligent and with a lot more spikes. "You made these yourself?" she asks, hand still lingering around her pistol. "Why do they have teeth?"

"Because they'd look like very boring jellyfish otherwise?" Some are decorated with fins, others with spikes, each bot is somewhat different from the next.

Then he finds a suitably sized rock, picks it up -- and hefts it. "GET THE ROCK! GET IT!" Off goes a cloud of the yappy little bots, bow bowing all the way, before they come back, nipping at the one who DOES have the rock in it's massive jaws.

"...also, how would they play fetch? Really, gotta have teeth to play fetch."

As if this is somehow common sense.
