Truth be told, Starscream had actually been avoiding speaking or directly interacting with the other Megatron. He still didn't know why he agreed to stay in the apartment. He supposed he was partially curious. Of course he old "Magnum" it was so he could gain inside information easier -- but then again he wasn't really loyal to that Megatron either.

At the moment he didn't know where he stood. Jetfire being in the city did not make things any simpler. He tried not to think on it much, not until he could figure out everything.

All things considered, when he made his way through the door and into the apartment, he had expected to just head straight to his room. He did not expect to come face to face with Megatron. He just sort of stared. He did not say anything at first.

"Megatron." Starscream spoke rather flatly unsure of what to say really.

To be honest, Megatron was curious of Starscreams. Since his arrival in the Nexus, the simple number of them alone was enough to garner his attention. His own Starscream, while often foolhardy, beyond arrogant, and too blind to his own idiosyncrasies to hit a cyberfly on his own noseplating, had potential. The potential in his own universe, it would seem, had worn out, at least for Megatron's use.

And now he had a new Second, an Air Commander that, while he was... inept at shielding his own emotions at times, was competent and loyal. This was not to say that Megatron trusted him. No, not yet. But he has performed admirably thus far - any Starscream with enough restraint to not take advantage of a Megatron while he was... mentally compromised, was worth some credit ( ... )

"..."

In his experience, it was never a good thing when Megatron wanted to talk. Of course this was a different Megatron, but a Megatron nonetheless. But in any case, Starscream was not about to show any sort of fear. He took several more steps forward before stopping again.

"You're not going to make me listen to some sort of propaganda speech are you?"

Really, he doubted one Megatron would have anything different to say over another. He already was a Decepticon, though he fully was not a Megatron follower.

He brought up his arms up and folded them across his chest. It was a minor offenense of defiance. Just a little thing. But he wasn't about to drop down and bow before him or anything.

But he did slightly smirk back in return.

"What did you wantto talk about? I highly doubt it's the weather.."

The old Decepticon Warlord chuckles, his optics betraying nothing as he takes in every little bit of information - stance, tone, smirk... minor rebellious behavior - and stores it for later use. He turns, openly displaying his backside, to move in the direction of his personal energon dispenser within the 'living' area. The high-grade, and also the oil, were locked to his own personal encryption.

"Only if you were willing to listen. I have it on good authority you wouldn't... though there are always pointed differences between universal designations. You could yet surprise me."

He turns back, sipping from his twisted barrel - a goblet - and licking the oil from his lips.

"Energon? Or perhaps some oil. It is my private blend."

It is much later, some time after the conclusion of Magnum's conversation with his primaxian alternate, that Starscream arrives at the apartment. He isnt in particularly a good mood, having 'conversed' with Soundwave and tangled with Blackout in order to spray the helicopter with the virus, and null its effects.

It left for question though whether or not he had been infected as well, as he was sure some of it got on him; he had sprayed himself, but he wasnt sure if he was canceling out the virus, or undoing the neutralization of it. In any case, he was going to wash and stay low for a bit, and spray himself again, if necessary.

The thought of becoming an inverse of himself was... disturbing, to say the least. He would need to inform Megatron of the possibility- just in case.

"Mission accomplished, Sir."

Megatron, as it happened, was also in a less than pleased mood. While he wasn't particularly expecting the other Starscream living in their apartment to be the best, most efficient Seeker that had ever been protoformed (or however they were created in that particular universe), he was mildly disappointed with the glaring comparable traits that he found he loathed so deeply within his own Malgian Ex- Air Commander.

Such... potential. Wasted.

It left a foul taste on his glossa, and it showed in his expression. And so, when the other Starscream entered the apartment, he openly scowled.

"Clearly."

He has a Soundwave - two, if he decided to count that mocking comment from the Tyran hunk of bolts - screwing with every communication line he has (while he doesn't know what all has been said, he can certainly imagine the havoc the mech-toaster is wreaking on his men), not to mention Blackout's dimwittery about being lied to for planting the virus on Magnum. ...This also wasn't mentioning the very likely pissed off Magnum once said ( ... )

So, he was in a foul mood as well. It figured.

Lips twisting into a slight frown, the seeker shifts slightly where he stands, optics following Megatron's movements.

"...Blackout has been successfully decontaminated as well, Sir. Though, I may need to re-administer it to myself, later on."

The old Warlord's optics narrow as he turns, his drink for the moment forgotten.

"You were sprayed with the virus yourself?"

Another low scowl.

He looks the mech up and down critically, his mood souring further. He didn't want to know what the opposite of this Starscream would do. Megatron had a good idea, he just didn't want it to happen in the first place.
