[see Raf, sitting on one of the hostel beds. there's a half-eaten candy bar in sight - someone's been really, really good at rationing their halloween haul.]

Hey, I was curious...I know that most of you are, well, Cybertronian. Or other species. [read; not many humans] But I got to thinking that maybe we're not so different, not with what I've ( Read more... )

Slag, kid... war usually puts a pretty good stopper on that sorta stuff. [Cliffjumper shrugs slightly.]

I'm sure you've noticed the racin', though. Quite sure we've all got some variation on that, an' related, varations you'd probably recognize as tag.

[There's a brief pause as Cliffjumper snorts, hesitating.]

An' I dunno if you'd call sing-alongs games, but I've seen 'em been done too. [He'd... tried... not to participate.]

I wouldn't mind hearing about what you used to do, then. And yeah, I've seen that. It makes sense, with you guys being able to turn in to cars and trucks and...planes.

[though he's only seen the latter in Decepticons :[ ]

...sing-alongs?

Ah, some like to race in root form too, or switch between 'em.

[Yeah, not that many flying Autobots around, but there are a few! And Cliffjumper shifts a bit, uncertain if he wants to think that far back; not that he'd had long until after he came online until the war started. So, for the moment, he grabs onto that last question instead.]

Yeah... Uh. Where I was before I came here. They're rather close, an' despite the scrap they were pulled through, kinda light-hearted, as you humans would say. One of 'em, Dead-End, likes to arrange sing-alongs.

[Cliffjumper looks slightly embarrassed as he recounts this because, honestly? Sing-along?]

[Raf is curious, but he's learned a few things about body language. especially from Bee, and Bee being unable to talk. Cliffjumpers' isn't the /same/, but the general signs?

well, let's learn more about these...sing-alongs.]

What kind of songs? [he looks somewhere between amused and confused.]

[You're a good kid, Raf, most definitely.]

Most of 'em were Cybertronian... an' I gotta say, it's kind of confusing trying to keep up... just listenin' when somethin' sounds the same but lyrics're switched around or changed... [He actually had an easier time when Dead-End was feeling creative and put music to Straxus' poetry; he'd never heard that before.]

Besides that, however... music from the 1950's an' 1960's on Earth. They got transmissions from there, just nothin' current. I dunno if that was stranger than the other things.

[There's a pause and then a shrug.]

There's somethin' that's similar to your basketball, too.
