[The video suddenly cuts on; it doesn’t sound or look like it was turned on purposefully (there’s a lot of rustling and a plaintive, feminine little whine that sounds a lot like Sam ) since there’s a lot of darkness at first, until it’s pulled out from under the covers and set on a bedside table. Sam and Mikaela are both visible now, and are clinging to each other rather pathetically. When Mikaela herself says something her voice sounds terrible; it’s rough, hoarse, and weak. ]

What the…what the hell is going on? Food poisoning?

[this is better than hugging a pillow!] I don't know. Probably, yeah, food poisoning makes sense. [ugh his stomach was fine this morning but now? Now it's just twisting and turning and driving him insane]
